The front desk person was so accommodating. We had a suger ant issue the first night and he was quick to get us another room. A discount for the first night would have been nice as the ant infestation was pretty severe around a wine glass I left on night stand and my lotion. If I had known, I would not have left these items out.

Unbeatable location with direct access to the beach. Great view. Stayed at a dog friendly room. This is the definition of no frills hotel.Comfortable beds. Clean linens. Seemed clean, until we noticed scum on the bathroom sink :/ Equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. Room has a deck with 2 rocking chairs. Nice and quiet light show on trees at night. Could do with a little decor, like headboards on beds and/or some art on walls. Also the 2 chairs in the room around the little table, were a mismatched poor afterthought.

Bad experience!
We asked for a non pet room, and we were told that it was a non pet room, but it smelled like a pet had been in there. We shared that with the front desk, and only got a “I am sorry response.” It was dead slow, and they could of put us in a room that smelled half way decent.

Enjoyed our stay at Pacific Reef; it has the best hot tub on the coast. Rooms were fine but need upgrading since furniture does not match the space. Walk to the beach ideal. Breakfast buffet OK, staff very helpful. Property needs an upgrade since adjacent hotels are newer and refurbished. Big picture in back yard entertaining but not worth the space. They would do better putting in outdoor pool and spa near the beach, like their nextdoor neighbor hotel. Add a fire pit and tables during summer and you've got a great oudoor space.

This place is a winner!
What a wonderful experience! The room was very clean and odorless. The full kitchen was awesome and well stocked. The view was nice and we could hear the waves. It's a short walk to the beach. The best part was the light show. It was a series of short videos and was very fun to watch! We will definitely come again!!

We were there for three nights last week. The room was huge with so much storage that you might want to decide on drawers you are not going to use just so that you don't have to check all 20-odd drawers and cabinets. The light show is funky but not annoying. The beach is about three minutes walk away. Breakfast is an easy walk away, and lunch and dinner an easy drive.

Pacific Reef is very comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Our 2nd floor room had a high beam ceiling and an amazing ocean view. I would have given an overall 5 star rating, however the rooms are showing wear.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Our room had a fabulous view of the ocean. But the uncomfortable bed, the broken coffee pot, the lack of warm blankets, and the blank ugliness of the room were qualities that I felt ruined our two-day getaway. Oh, I left an expensive item in the bathroom. No one saw anything....

Perfect for a busy mom & dads getaway
It was amazing! The room was clean, we had a beautiful oceanfront condo which included a little kitchen which was great for heating up takeout or throwing a frozen pizza in for a late dinner. A beautiful view of the ocean and the nightly show. Gorgeous sunsets and a short walk to the ocean! Definitely recommend the Hunter Creek Bar & Grill for the best burger and tots you’ve ever had just up the road too! Would stay here again 10/10.
