Scottish Inn definitely needs some updating - but looking beyond that, it had amazing towels, comfy beds, with real blankets (as a frequent traveler, that's not always the case). Showers are from the 1940s-50s but a simple tile paint would fix that if there are budget constraints - it's a diamond in the definite rough - but I'd stay there again :-)

Old and out-dated. Needs to be remodeled and up dated. Carpets torn, plumbing in bathtub corroded. Not pleasant.

The motel was inexpensive and had good reviews, so this is why I chose The Scottish Inn. And, the reviews were right, comfortable beds and clean rooms. The rooms are dated, but if you are staying for the night, you will be asleep anyway and won't care. The free breakfast is a very minimal continental breakfast, so if you are a breakfast eater, I suggest going out for breakfast. We ate at The Griddle in town and it was good. I would stay again for the price and comfortable beds!

The facility lacked cleanliness. The hot water tap in the shower was stripped and so just the knob turned and no water came out. There were areas where the floor was soft and it felt like you could easily fall through. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but adequate with very fresh bagels, cereal, yogurt, etc.

Heavy cigarette smoke in lobby/ check in. Old, worn out. But the woman at desk is sweet. Clean, comfortable bed and quiet. No soap in room. Tv remote broken, etc.

Didn’t like how much the office smelled like cigarettes. Overall loved how clean the room was for the dogs and I. Wish the shower stall had a light it was a little dark. But other than that everything was great.

Only gripe is the room was freezing cold. It’s 10 below freezing outside and they don’t pre heat the rooms, so for an arthritic disabled person was a challenge. Otherwise no complaints.
