We stayed at this property two years ago and loved it. The price was double the amount this time but we felt it would still be worth it. Instead, it was twice the price and less than half the service. There was only one person working, he didn't have the hotels.com pricing in his system, and he had to physically go to our room to see if it was clean. He handed over the keys, verbally gave us the room number but gave no information about wi-fi, breakfast, etc. After asking and being told breakfast was till 10, I arrived at 9:36 and doors were closed and everything was put away. Because only one person was working, everyone coming to the desk had to call for assistance. I observed a man trying to resolve a valid complaint have his concerns brushed aside and not even get an apology. Cleanliness was adequate but bathroom vents need cleaning. If this were a budget hotel, I wouldn't mention this, but for the price, I was surprised that bathroom toiletries were from 4 different companies (even the shampoo and conditioner were different brands and fragrances). There is new management whose philosophy is not concerned about the customer. We come to the area every year, but we are not staying at this hotel again.
