Sleep In….Your Vehicle!
I’ve stayed at other Sleep Inn numerous times, with not a single issue, so that’s why I chose this one. What a huge mistake that was, this Sleep Inn is a total sh** hole. My first room: I almost tripped and fell over the door bumper on the floor and a hole in the wall where it once was. Turned on the TV and couldn’t change channels because the up/down buttons didn’t work. Ok, I can deal with that and enter each channel by number, just no surfing. Went to the bathroom and was greeted by an unknown pubic hair sitting on the top of the toilet tank, my patients are low now. Tried to flush the toilet and it wouldn’t flush. Changed rooms, room #2, same remote control problem and the TV is 7 feet to the left of the bed! Turned on the heater and a family of 40-50 beetles came running out of the vents. Used the guest laundry, the dryer took two $2 cycles to almost dry my clothes, brought them to my room to hang them to dry on the ironing board….which was also broken and had to be propped up between two nasty stained chairs. The first morning had a great breakfast, so I was amazed, then that went away too on day two….had nothing out and no one was there working. The stairwells were filthy with mud, the hand rails were broken off and laying on the floor. There was an empty shampoo bottle and absolutely no conditioner in the shower, not even a bottle….nothing! I only stayed because it’s not so easy to change/refund once booked. The worst part was that I left a great hotel to save $12/day

Cancel reservation before arrival
I had reservations for Sleep inn in Meridian and I arrived at 4:15. I told the clerk my name and she told me the room was canceled. I check the Hotel.com and it showed me my reservation was still there. I called the sleep inn and told her and she said she ran my card and it declined and she canceled my room. I told her I never had an issue at any hotel that I book and they don’t run my card until I arrived. I will never book there again.

Rude staff
Checking was terrible and staff was unprofessional. The $100 deposit for incidentals was not listed in the site and was not necessary since most of the time it’s not required. The towel in our room was still dirty. Will not stay here again!!!

DONT STAY HERE
Perhaps u should put all the families on one same floor so they can scream one another to sleep. I tried to get earplugs from the office. 1) The phone in room 215 does not work. Throw it out. 2) Turns out the hotel doesn't offer earplugs. I was moved to room 311, where I found the pictures shown here. Somebody had been there...took a dump.. left the skid marks and the key. ALL THUMBS DOWN

Bedding was dirty, with things left inside bed
The first room they gave us was in really bad condition. The bed had not been made. In fact, when we removed the blanket, there was a piece of paper that had someone’s note on it. We then went downstairs and received a different room, which was acceptable. During the night, someone apparently tried to smoke in one of the other rooms, therefore setting off the fire alarm through the whole hotel. Not a fun way to spend the night.
