correct room number key given?
I was given room 224, and when I arrived in the room, there were linen sheets rolled up in a big ball in the corner. Also, the furniture around the room was stacked on top of the desk top. After noticing that the main door and microwave door were not avail to me, II could only assume that the new carpeting was installed w/ the remodel. Considering not coming back for my monthly stay.

A fun spot in a wonderful cycling paradise
It is a fun facility with a nice northwoodsy ambiance. The pool area is amazing. Even at my advanced age I would love to try their curvy slides but they are not open during the week. Breakfast is ordinary - make your own waffles and mini muffins, yogurt, etc.

The initial check-in process was disappointing. I felt that the manager walked by and didn't bother to help us. She's pointed at the girl who was busily helping a line of people with coffee specialty drinks. Pretty weak in my opinion. Eventually, the young lady who was serving drinks came over and checked us in but she was not extremely friendly either. The next couple of days I dealt with Cathy and she was amazing!

Very attractive facility and spacious and nicely decored room. However, having previous experience in the hotel industry with housekeeping I'm more inclined to noticing the smaller details of the cleanliness of rooms. I totally understand how it can be demanding and fast-paced work for a meager wage. I was a bit surprised several things passed housekeeping inspections in our room with hair and debris slightly on the floor. Which is an easy pass, but when we pulled the top cover off the comforter I wasn't impressed with seeing a small stain of blood. Im not sure if it was fresh or a past stain that didn't come out of wash. Personally, we found the beds a bit uncomfortable without having enough support and too soft. The rooms is very nice decorated and spacious and generous amount of towels were given. The morning desk clerk was super nice compared to the lady we checked in with in the evening. A big thumbs up for water temperature of the pool. It wasn't ice cold but a comfortable temperature that invites you to stay in longer and the hot tub pool was super relaxing. Game room is ridiculously price, otherwise that would had been entertaining. Still a nice place for a family to stay all in all.

Our stay wasn’t so pleasant. First off the room wasn’t cleaned very well it’s pretty sad when I have to wipe off tables and the headboards that had visible dust on it. Secondly you get better breakfast at a super 8. Third I have an issue of my 2 year old locking me out on the patio, when I brought it to the attention of the lady working on September 5, 2024 she was very rude and inconsiderate. Questioning why my child was in the room alone. At least I was considerate and smoked outside of the room like the rules were that’s the reason I had him in the room. I could visibly see my child. So to be questioned about my parenting was completely wrong and unprofessional. Then to be no help whatsoever ever and rolling her eyes and giving me attitude the whole time is poor customer service. The only good part about my stay was seeing my child have fun with the amenities that were there. Other than that if I didn’t live 3 hours away I would’ve left after that incident. Needless to say your front desk lady working that day at around 6:00 pm needs to be taught customer service because I myself am unsure if I’ll ever be back and will be telling my other friends that stay up there to stay away.
