Luxurious feel, slow wifi
The rooms seem recently renovated with luxurious furnishings and bedding. The bathroom had a nice heater in it, which was nice with the cold weather. The staff were very communicative and helpful and facilitated self-check-in. Our only complaints were that the floors were very creaky (may be bothersome for people on first floor) and that the internet was very slow and unreliable.

Good overall
Very nice overall. 1st floor with noisy second floor neighbor at midnight, but motel can’t help that. Clean nice room. Toilet fixture fell off while we’re there, but motel can’t predict that. Communication before was superior. They work hard for their guests at this motel. It’s a good place to stay

I would NOT stay here again. I was given the wrong code to my room. Then given the correct code. Then at 9:00 at night when I was sleeping to get up for an early work presentation I was awoken by someone trying to get into my room! Obviously fearful wasn’t sure what to do. When I opened the door the person said they were given my room number as their room! Do not stay here!!! Terrible service

Cheap and cheerful. Great starting point for Acadia. Easy to find, large carpark, self checkin with a code. Basic but everything you need to sleep over. Water and snacks were a nice touch.

Don’t go here
The hotel switched us to a house they had for rent. While it was nice to have space for the group, we originally had 3 hotel rooms, the place was a dump. One shower had no soap, shampoo etc. Beds were really hard, The house itself was decorated in at least 10 different styles, and felt like we were staying in a rented college house. The price was high considering the quality of the stay We’ve traveled to this area of Maine for over 50 years. This was the worst place we stayed of all.

Management is in top of reservations and they are very congenial. The room was just ok. A place to stay. Dining is abundant around the hotel. 25 min to Acadia visitor center. 30 min to Bar Harbor. Can be longer depending on traffic. We were able to get a lot done from the location of the hotel.

The management was nice. They honored my last-minute request for an additional day's stay. The location is good. It does not have a restaurant but plenty of good ones are nearby. There are some good trails around the hotel and Acadia is about 1/2 hour away.

Quaint little hotel!
Atlantic Coastal Inn has a kind of New England charm. Our room was cozy and updated but kept the charm of its age. They had complimentary water and snacks which was great. Shower was hot, towels were thick and plush. The constsnt commubication from the hotel was amazing! The only drawback is the bed was a little hard for our comfort. Other than that our stay was great. Rooms were pretty soundproof...we were close to the busy and we barely heard the traffic noise!
