Lovely apartment

The apartment was separate from the main hotel and was lovely. It had been beautifully and tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean. There were fantastic views of the coastline and Tintagel Castle. My only bugbear was that we arrived quite late on the Sunday (my birthday!) and ordered two roast beef dinners. Unfortunately, these meals were not cheap and were very disappointing as they were not freshly cooked and were akin to a microwave roast beef dinner.

Beautiful, classic

I am amazed how the staff knew my room number, and wow! Staying at a hotel that looks like a castle is a treat. I loved my ocean view room. It put me at ease so I can do my work. And I love all the artwork and crystals around the hotel! I felt like an old time celebrity staying here.

Fabulous Castle Hotel

Loved staying at this old hotel. It was absolutely beautiful! Small room but to be expected. Modern convenience with claw/ shower!! Our window looked out on the Tintagel Castle ruins! We stayed two nights while exploring the area. Food was wonderful and you could get continental breakfast to go .

An awesome castle (though modern) in an amazing setting. Unfortunately, that's all the redeeming points. The standard double room is small, pokey and outdated. The widows didn't open but leaked (windy). The ensuite was nothing more than a small cupboard.

2 days at Camelo Castle Hotel

I stayed at Camelot Hotel for 2 days. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the views were absolutely magnificent, unique and truly memorable. The outdoor areas of the hotel are gorgeous, and the surrounding landscape is breathtaking. However, there were several issues that affected my stay. The toilets were of poor quality, resembling a plastic cabin more suited to yachts, which did not match the otherwise elegant design of the room. I had a private small balcony, but unfortunately could not use it, as it was directly connected to my neighbour’s window. Out of respect for their privacy and dignity, I chose not to sit outside. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and I could not sleep the first night. Additionally, the TV was not operating, and although there was a video option available, it also did not function. Overall, while the exterior and location of the hotel are truly impressive, these drawbacks made my experience less enjoyable, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Camelot Castle Hotel is a fantastic place to see and even better to stay. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea, with views extending along the coast and over to the ruins of Camelot Castle. the staff are excellent, and as we were leaving, we got the chance to meet Ted, the wonderful artist who lives and paints at the Castle. We absolutely loved our stay here at the Castle hotel. Beautiful hotel with such amazing staff that put you at ease even with all the grandure they made us feel so welcome and relaxed like we had known them for years. Beautiful three course meal by candlelight in a stunning dining room with silver service and a very charming Gentleman who entertained us all after dinner with his talent playing a beautiful big Harp and Grand piano while we enjoyed a cocktail. We will definitely be going back. Thank you so much to all the staff especially the lovely young lady in the bar who even though the Internet went down she continued to service everyone writing down by hand everyone's orders .

Such a wonderful stay, lovely room, very enchanting hotel with a gorgeous setting, food menu was fine but not overly exciting, or fully mouth watering, lacking the wow, but no chips is always a good sign. Room was great, set up well, very clean, hot sink tap sounded like something out the house of horrors, but that’s down to historic pipes, room nearby had a whale snoring away in it all night and then it sounded like the whale was coughing up bones all morning, so again not the hotel, just luck of the draw North tower junior suite has incredible views, and is a very pleasant place to spend time.
