The personal touch

Although my travel was delayed causing us to arrive at 3:30 AM, I was in constant contact with the staff. Upon arrival, I was kindly greeted by the staff at the Budget Inn and was even offered a modest snack to take to the room. The property is somewhat old and lacked a few amenities such as electrical plugs but the room was clean and in proper working order for a quick in and out overnight stay. It was obvious that the manager took pride in providing the best possible service and experience. I’ll take that any day! If you’re in the area, preferably during normal business hours, you might just have to stop in and say hello to Benny.

Just what we needed!

The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. The manager made sure that we were happy with our room and supplied us with drinking water and snacks. He definitely earned our business in the future

Friendly service at a dated facility

The Budget Inn in Sanderson is an affordable, somewhat dated motel. What makes this place worthwhile is the manager, Danny. He is friendly, engaging, and inquisitive. He brought fresh snacks to my room. The room was clean. The downside items: noisy air conditioner and dim lighting. My trip was solo and for business, so this was the right choice, and I would choose The Budget Inn again.

A small motel in the middle of nowhere

Old in the good way motel. Danny the motel manager was such a great encounter. We had tea in the morning before i headed off to experience the big bend area .

Simple, honest, and lower cost than the surrounding places, upon getting there danny at the frony desk was very friendly and gave me a try of snacks and a couple water bottles, i wish there were more motels like this.

The staff was very friendly, however the room was barely possible as a room. The door locks didn't work and the windows were sealed shut. The entire faculty lost power around 10 pm and no way to start chill by opening the windows. Would not recommend

We stayed here one night on a trip to Carlsbad. Everything ok and we got a bit of a museum feeling. The room was conserved in a state is has been designed maybe 50 years ago - very different to the standardized styles of today. This definitely was a great experience. Our host Danny was absolutely friendly, surprised us with a delicious home-cooked dinner - vegetarian. A good meal in Texas without a steak is possible!! We will remember that stay, thank you Danny.

Passez votre chemin.

Motel au bord d'une voie ferrée. Nous sommes accueillis par une femme ne parlant que que quelques mots anglais, pas simple pour se faire comprendre. Nous découvrons notre chambre pour la nuit, avec une assiette en carton à la main, dans laquelle on nous a glissé une barre de chocolat, des gâteaux secs et une banane pour le petit-déjeuner du matin. Un peu léger (voire beaucoup car c'est pour deux personnes) ! La chambre est de taille correcte mais la peinture criarde sur les murs, la moquette et les fauteuils sales ainsi que la salle de bain vétuste auront eu raison de notre bonne humeur. La nuit aura été cahotique, entrecoupée par le bruit des poids lourds, la train passant à 6h du matin et les ressorts du lit qui m'auront refait le dos.
