The email confirmation we received stated "separate dining area, kitchenette with microwave and dishwasher, day bed, double sofa bed'.. The small room we were given had a kitchenette and fridge but none of other described amenities. And we had called at least a month before to make sure we could get late checkout, as our flight was not until late at night. But when the time came we were not allowed to make a partial payment in order to stay until six p.m., despite the assurances received weeks before.
Our room had no air conditioning, so the noise level from the busy city streets below made it difficult to sleep.
Our building was many stories high, and there was often a long wait for the small elevators.
The VR Suites seemed to be more of a transient residence hotel than a tourist hotel. We encountered whole families in the small elevators, as well as teenagers with bikes, moms with little babies, etc.
On the positive side, most of the staff we dealt with were extremely kind and helpful.
