We enjoyed staying here. We stayed in one of the small cabins. It's a one room, personal bathroom cabin. It was somewhat rustic, which is exactly what we wanted. They also had sites for camping and campers/RVs on the other side of the property.
Right across the parking lot was a pool and also Showdowns, their on-site restaurant (opens at 5pm). There is outside seating with a firepit going. There is also inside seating and live country music every night. The food was good and so was the beer. Very convenient dining.
The staff at the front office was very friendly and helpful. They have complimentary coffee and ice water. Also a small souvenir shop.
The town is a small town about a mile and a half from Bryce Canyon, the way the crow flies. There is a trail in Tropic that you could hike to get to the amphitheater in Bryce Canyon. It's also about a 15 minute drive to the park.
The town of Tropic had anything you needed - a few restaurants, gas, grocery stores, etc.
We would definitely recommend this place.
