Rooms were fine, beds were a little uncomfortable. Two major complaints that really kind of ruined our stay;
1. Food at the free breakfast was mediocre, at best. Powdered scrambled eggs. Sausage was chewy and tasted like it was boiled.
2. Mini Golf was awful. Only 4 “holes.” They were all beat up. And to top it off, they didn’t have any putters! All they had to give us was two golf irons! When I questioned it, the young lady behind the desk shrugged her shoulders and said, “Sorry. That’s all we’ve got.” To add insult to injury, my son is left-handed and these irons were right-handed clubs! All it would take is someone to go to Wal Mart and pick up a couple of $15 clubs and some decent golf balls. The golf balls were wimpy plastic whiffle type balls. We were EXTREMELY disappointed and my son was very upset. We still used it and made the best of it, but wasn’t worth the $200/night for us. There are other options in the area for similar pricing that we will look into next time.
