Just what we wanted.
We were two couples from Boston looking for a holiday overnight in Mystic. Perfect idea. Main Street was full of lights, shops, carolers and shops. The Inn was spotless and the service was excellent.

Excellent sray
Spent an overnight with my wife. The entrance to the Tabor Inn was clean and landscaped very nicely. The woman at the check in desk explained to call the desk in tje morning and breakfast would be delivered to our room,walked us to our room after check in. Then room was so cozy and quaint and comfortable. The most appreciated part was with as close as we were to a main road, there rooms were so quiet. Had an amazingly quiet and comfortable stay. Will definitely be back.

Best in the area
Friendly and helpful staff and management. I arrived late so they sent me video instructions. In the morning they brought free coffee pastry and two kinds of fruit. I stay here every time I am in the area. Book as far in advance as possible because they get booked up quickly.

Anniversary Stay
Great orientation upon arrival. We went to celebrate our anniversary. Room was spacious. Bathroom with jacuzzi was exceptional. Timed gas fireplace in the room was very nice touch. Walls did not appear adequately sound insulated as we heard conversation in the adjoining room. TVs are nicely positioned but small. Indoor pool was unexpected but we did not take advantage of that contingency. No coffee/tea service or refrigerator in room. Many hours between sleep and breakfast without snacks or cold water. Pillows were terrible. Need some sort of memory foam replacement. Access to mystic and Stonington was excellent. We pad $237 for the night which seemed comparable for similar accommodations in the area. Overall pleasant but we would not consider returning without needed upgrades.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff
Perfect, comfortable, no-frills hotel. The staff at the front desk (Paul and Joe?) were super friendly and made some amazing recommendations for food and exploring Mystic. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a fantastic jetted tub. The pool was lovely and warm and very clean. They delivered breakfast in the morning (coffee and pastries) which was perfect for my early bird husband. Would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful place to stay
The Taber Inn was a perfect place to spend the night in Mystic. My wife and I were on a roadtrip from New Jersey and Mystic was our last stop. It was a beautiful place and everyone was so friendly. After checking in, they gave us a map and gave some suggestions on places to go in downtown. Then they walked us to our room and showed us where things were. We had a room with a jacuzzi in it along with a fireplace. The room was spacious and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. We called the number they told us to in the morning and they brought coffee and pastries to our door within minutes. Checkout was easy as we just left the key in the room and left. I wish we had time to spend another night there but we will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere
This was one of the most amazing places we stayed during our 3 week trip. Accommodations were very well Maintained. In the morning we were brought fresh hot coffee with homemade coffee cake/muffins and fruit. Staff were amazing and owner so full of information about area. Loved it!!

Sehr netter Empfang. Das Zimmer war sehr groß sowie das Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne. Leider haben wir nur ein Queen Bett buchen können, weil nichts mehr frei war. Das Bett hat leider gequietscht bei jeder Bewegung. Deshalb war der Schlaf nicht sehr erholsame. Das ist aber das einzige was nicht optimal war. Inbegriffenes kleines Frühstück (Kaffee/Tee, Obst und kleines Gebäck) wird direkt ins Zimmer gebracht, innerhalb von 2-3 Minuten nach telefonischer Bestellung. Das war wirklich super. Es gibt einen beheizten Indoor Pool. Das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
