We had an amazing stay. Just 5 minutes from the beach. The bed was extremely comfortable, roomy and clean. I couldn't have asked for better hosts. They were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area.the little homey touches were the icing on the cake! We will definitely be back!

There are many places to stay in Bandon, from new big-name hotel/motels to smaller, and much older motels showing their age. The Wayside Motel & RV park is a wonderful and unique option, and one I would stay at again. It is an older motel - parking just outside your room - that has been lovingly and artfully renovated, combined with a tree-lined RV park in the back if that is how you travel. The rooms were spotless, with many small thoughtful touches like fresh ground coffee and small drip percolators, fresh aromatic honeycomb soaps, small refrigerators primed with a welcome bottle of cold water, small microwaves, high-speed wireless, and more. The building is old, so doorways are narrow, and the shower is "quaint" but perfectly functional, and all the fixtures have been updated. Beds were soft, too. The facility is just a minute or two away by foot from a convenient market, drug store, and sandwich shop, and perhaps a short 10-minute walk to Bandon's old town. You could stay much closer to the beach in Bandon, but you would pay much, much more, and perhaps miss the charm, and certainly not have the personal attention offered by the proprietors, who were wonderful. You can find lots of RV parks in the area, but few with the intimate size (yet still able to accommodate large trailers) and lovely trees without feeling crowded.

Clean and cozy. Close to Bandon Old Town area. Nice amenities (pour-over local coffee, handmade soap, snacks). Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.
