Not the best holiday experience!
Reception were unhelpful at times, had continuous issues with keycard and not being able to get in the room. Toilet being downstairs in duplex apartment was an issue at night. Hotel menu was very limited, only 4 choices for starters, mains & deserts and it didn’t change all week. Also food cooked in peanut oil and couldn’t guarantee or change any meals to make them nut free, two of our party have nut allergies, so couldn’t eat there. Hotel is a good 7 minutes drive or 25 minute walk from the town and restaurants.
Bar shut a 9:00pm on the Friday night for no apparent reason, so couldn’t get a drink on returning from our meal, though restaurant was still open and accepting guests. Staff keen to put bar drinks on room bill, with no receipt given, so now way to check on how many drinks purchased or number of rounds bought. Limited seating space in the bar area, two x two seater settees and four armchairs otherwise sat at high tables on wicker chairs. Swimming pool was saltwater with chlorine in it which caused one of our party to have an allergic skin reaction out of nowhere, no notice to say “saltwater” pool. No hotel information book in rooms detailing, mealtimes, pool opening times, use of induction hob, services provided by hotel in English or French. Bedroom lights on headboard situated, so that with a double bed, one person could not sit up in bed.
Never found that room in the picture.
Suffice to say, we will not be staying there again and would not recommend the hotel.
