Great place to stay in Dickinson ND

The people at check in where very friendly and the process was fast. When we got to the room we noticed that the door wouldn't latch when closed, but a quick call to the front desk had a repairman there in no time a the issue was resolved. The room was clean and quiet and for an older hotel it is kept up quite nice. The breakfasts were adequate, offering more than we would normally have if we were at home.

Great Hotel-Need Softer beds

I love this hotel. Just wish the beds were softer, they are extremely hard. The rooms are amazing, and the entire property is 5 stars. Only thing that needs to improve are the mattresses.

Great rooms and very clan, breakfast needs work.

Great room really clean and quiet. Hotel is nice. Close to gas stations and interstate. Breakfast aas just ok. I have celiacs and my only choice was sugar yogurt. Otherwise great hotel.

Poorly managed

The Building and rooms are falling apart. Its run by India folks who dont care about maintenance and service was really bad. They also tried to over charge everyone $20 per night intill I called them out and then they fixed my rate. Its too bad that a nice hotel is getting run into the ground by people that have no idea what they are doing.

No bathroom fan, complaints when we asked for towels, room was used and still dirty, next room was cleaner but dusty. Had to wipe the tv down to see it then the remote didn’t work. We were able to watch Netflix. Restaurant was closed on Sunday. Monday was open for a very minimal breakfast. Dinner was good other than I ordered a Cobb salad but got a club.

We were disappointed on arrival. They checked us in but room had not been cleaned yet. Hotel advertised bar and restaurant of which neither was open due to staff shortages. This is an event center but sure didn't cater to the patrons staying there . The room we had was spacious.

Loved the pool, and hot tub! Room was clean. Wish we would have been separated from bigger loud groups staying beside us- since the hotel is obviously not full they could give guests some separation for noise . Haven’t had the breakfast yet, but says it is a hot breakfast and restaurant seating looks good.

Not sure what to expect

Where to start. The lobby is very nice, the staff is nice as well. The room on the other hand was a bit out dated and needed some touch up paint. The beds were very hard. The bathroom was suppose to have shampoo and body wash filled containers in the shower, they were empty. We went to Walmart to pick up some forgotten items, bought shampoo and body wash. On day three, our room should have been cleaned, my wife spoke to a cleaning person, who seemed to be in charge, she was told the room should be cleaned in a little while. The other cleaning person was two doors away, so one would think that the room would have been cleaned, wrong! There could have been a language barrier problem. The facility had a pool and hot tub. We walked in and the only thing I could smell was Chlorine. The room had eight lights along the two walls, only five worked. It looked like they remodeled around the windows but forgot to repaint the area. There was no clock in the pool area either. The pool towels ran out, my wife went to the front desk to ask for more, the nice gentleman said he would bring some. The nice gentleman did bring six bath towels, not pool towels, which means they probably did not have any clean pool towels. I really did try to like this place, it mainly had construction workers . The free continental breakfast was interesting, one person worked it and it was mostly taken care of. The bread was super dry, your toast came out like a brick. The scrabbled eggs that come in the bag ok.

Nice but a bit disappointing

Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. The lounge wasnt open either night as apparently their staff fails to show up. It was one of the reasons we chose to stay..for onsite dinner and drinks.

Did not get the room i booked. I booked a suite with a king bed and a twin bed. Listing said the room sleeps 3. Upon check in and arriving in the room. The room only had 1 king bed and no other, this room sleeps 2. Asked front desk for another room they said they are booked. Yet their website states 3 different rooms available. This room is not a suite but a king efficiency room, this room did not even have a chair in it other than a computer chair. Only about half the lights in the room worked. The light above the entry door did not work. The lamp on the desk did not work. The light above the stovetop did not work because the switch was removed and no cover placte over top and had exposed wiring. when i asked for extra blankes i was refered to laudry as if the front desk could not be disturbed by such meanial tasks. The room was mostly clean except the hair dryer was covered in 3 years of hairspray and the furniture looked to be thrown about the room and not placed in any peticular order

Run away and don't waste your money.

Awful experience. They lost our reservation. They gave us the last room they had available but it was cheaper than the riom i booked. The ac didn't work well in the room. The third floor hallway had more give than the mattress. There were no curtains in the room to blook out the street light.
