Ok overall
The hotel is nice overall. Small rooms but bed is comfortable. They use l'occitane products which i love. Receptionist were average.The restaurant was good and waitresses were very good. No room service. There is no on site laundry. The view is nice. My biggest complaint. Tv..No smart tv to even log in to Netflix or cast at at all. Very basic channels with 2 of those being in Japanese with no subtitles. Ended up watching on my phone, which i do not typically do. I would stst more in the downtown area with a little more modern convenience

Lovely hotel
We stayed at the Marina hotel for a long weekend in February/March. It was super cold outside and toasty warm in the hotel. I even had to turn our radiator off and open a window through the night. The balcony was awesome and looked out over the harbour which was fab. The lounge area and library is amazing and great to sit and read or just take in the ambience with a drink or a coffee.

Great stay. Great location. M
Lovely hotel overlooking the old harbour in Rekyavik. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the harbour and hills. In fairness our view was taken up by a boat, picture below but it is a working harbour. That said it doesn’t spoil the hill views. The room was a little small, as others have said. But all mod cons were there including a fridge and safe. The bathroom was lovely. Again small, wet room style but fantastic shower and difficult to find any fault. The hotel is modern. Lovely public areas. Staff we encountered were all lovely. The area around the old harbour has a plethora of restaurants, all different cuisines. We especially loved Himalayan Spice. The balcony was a nice twist, ok too cold for February but in the summer it would be cracking to sit out there with a wine and relax. Highly recommended hotel in great location. City centre not even 10 minutes walk away.

Not fully worth the Price-not 4 stars
Breakfast was okay, but could have been better as it is 4 star hotel. No fill up off breakfast the last 10 min even though a lot was empty. Only reception staff were kind and service minded. No smiles or service from restaurant staff during breakfast. The taxes were 120 EUR for one night Paris on top. So the total experience is not fully worth the price. Nice lounge areas in the hotel, nice bar etc.

A warm stay in Iceland
Hotel was great. Wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend that you include the breakfast in your stay. One of the best buffet breakfast list I’ve ever had. The location is convenient to the bus routes and an easy walk into the shopping area where there are many restaurants and bars

Well located, clean room with friendly staff
the hotel is well located on the Marina and walking distance into the main town centre, with a bus stop right next door for any tour pick ups. The staff at check in and out were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately breakfast wasn’t included as standard unlike other hotels we stayed at during our time in Iceland. The l'occitane products in the bathroom were a nice touch.

Highly recommend
Perfect hotel for 3 nights in Reykjavik! We booked a double room with balcony, but we were disappointed that the bed was smaller than we expected and was right against the wall. Reception staff were lovely and upgraded us to a deluxe room (thank you again)… this room was fantastic. The common areas were ample, warm and inviting. The hotel is right next to the whale boat tours and about 15 minute walk to the centre (but with lots of bars and restaurants to pop into on the way).

Could not have asked for better! Do yourself a favor and pay the little more for a balcony room. They view of the marina and mountains is worth it! Great location, easy walk to restaurants and shops and close to bus stop 15. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
