In my opinion it's a good one if you also visits the theme park just underground . The hotel rooms they are like the hotel a bit too much , small gym, the swimming pool inside is really great but outside it miss some place. Other that the dinner is a really expensive and is not worth 1300 $.

Decent hotel. Kind of inconvenient to get to. It's also 15-20 mins from Hualien Downtown. Definitely nothing in walking distance. Would only recommend for people planning to spend majority of their time in the hotel or the ocean park.
The best parts is the view and the bar. Friendly talented bartenders.

For such a large hotel, especially with a emphasis on being a family resort, the Farglory was really excellent. My only criticisms: surprisingly cramped shower and very difficult to get preferred dinner reservations [& alternatives require a car.] Great staging point for seeing the Takoro Gorge.
