Beach front bargain

This is the least expensive hotel beachfront that has good food. All the food here is actually really good. The rooms unless the picture shows you it’s been remodeled totally redone are very old or tired and used which in a small room it is what it is just so you know Security is fine. There’s a great little café with good coffee and food upfront cool and everything here as well maintained the particular room I got the remodeled so everything was worth it perfect spacious comfortable. The only thing I’d add would be a balcony would be super sweet.

I felt like I was at home, very clean and comfortable, delicious breakfast. The customer service people are very friendly. I loved this place. It is very close to all the activities. They also have tours within the hotel for you to choose from. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Old hotel. Telephone not working. Shower won’t drain. Small bathroom. They fix the phone and shower. It’s just a old hotel. Breakfast just average low. They take away the towels and we have to wait till they wash them to get them back. TV only have maybe 5 channels to watch. Workers are nice.

Do not book or cancel your current booking. RUN!

Without exaggeration this the worst hotel stay I have ever had. We stayed two nights but almost left after the first. The property is physically falling apart, the lobby was very humid, despite covid numbers still being high around the world, Colombia recently and partially relaxing its entry requirements for foreigners, this hotel gave zero care for physical distancing, masks, or evidence of cleaning in common spaces starting at check in. The room has ants and roaches (we even killed two cockroaches and housekeeping made the beds but left the dead roaches!), there was clear evidence bugs had been smashed on the wall prior to our stay as well. The bathroom was so small it didn’t fit a 5’6 person facing forward on the toilet, the bathroom floor was 3 different heights in places that didn’t make sense, the door had mold, and there where holes in tiles. 1 bed was very hard, the other was sinking like an air mattress. Breakfast was coffee,bread, & runny eggs. The room was so small opening two suitcases took all the free space on the floor. Furniture was out of date and not luggage friendly. Any hostel I’ve stayed in across Europe or Asia is far surperior. The tiny hotels in the mountains of Colombia were far nicer which was shocking considering the location. If you are used to US or European standards stay at the intercontinental a couple doors down. The only nice thing I can say is at least the AC in the room worked and the shower had warm water.

Apenas um elevador lento e pequeno, quarto sem cobertor. Cafe da manha sempre o mesmo e com poucas variedades. Internet Boa, piscina e servivo de bar muito bons... bem perto do praia e no centro. Excelente localizacao.

We stayed at the Hotel Playa Club and everything was amazing from the staff, the food and the experience. They had a great free breakfast which had a good selection of food. There is a cafe, restaurant and bar on site as well as a pool. The hotel is across the street from the beach and in a good neighborhood far as food, shops and excursions to purchase. I had a amazing time and everything is close too

Lugar de accesibilidad justa, quedan bastantes comercios cerca de ella. En la playa literal está enfrente. Deben mejorar las instalaciones, cambiar colchones, cambiar, toallas, invertir un poco más en todos estos aspectos, algunos ambientes se sentían sucios o descuidados.

The AC in the room was not functioning well, as the room was quite hot. The property lost power frequently and the elevator did not have a backup/emergency power supply, leading to be trapped for 35 mins until the staff could pry open the door to let me out.

Gostei muito do hotel. Não me arrependi de ter ficado afastado da cidade amuralhada, pois o hotel dispunha de uma instalação moderna e muito boa. A vida noturna em boca grande também é ótima! Café da manhã básico com tudo que uma refeição saudável precisa. chuveiro quentinho maravilhoso, toalhas trocadas todo dia!
