We experienced a very decent stay in Sapa Horizon Hotel. Room was spacious. The Fansipan mountain view from the balcony was stunning. The bathroom was equipped with a heater which was a great surprise in the cold weather. We travelled to Sapa by overnight train. The check in time was 1:00pm. This lovely hotel offered a shower room for us at 7:00a.m when we arrived Sapa on the first day and they did the same when we left Sapa in the evening. This was absolutely a very heartwarming arrangement as we could not take a shower on the overnight train.

We booked two nights at Sapa Horizon, hoping to early check in at 330am to get a few hours sleep before our hiking trip starts. Unfortunately expedia did not pass on our message (which wasn’t the hotel’s fault) and so we have to go back to our bus until 6. When we checked in, Mr David showed us our room (with upgrade) which was really nice. Later in the evening, Mr David and his colleagues even helped my friend getting a sim card too( as post office was closed). The weather was super foggy while we were in sapa, my friend and i had to cancel our hiking trip on the 2nd day. Mr David suggested us an alternative route and to try the Lao Cai to Ta Van route which we really enjoyed and managed to see rice terraces finally! The hotel also offered us to shower before we leave as well as preparing us a chicken banh mi to eat on the way back to Hanoi which I found super thoughful and nice. I am already planning to revisit Sapa and will definitely go back and stay with Sapa Horizon again.

With so many hotel options in SaPa, this little gem sits in the heart of the city. Its location is prime for walking to fantastic restaurants nearby. The breakfast is awesome, and Tom the host at breakfast, became our local tour guide for two days to Cat Cat Village and to the top of Fansipan. I highly recommend this hotel in SaPa!

Very helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable room with views of Sapa, great breakfast with a wide choice, convenient for restaurants and Sapa station to go up to Fansipan. We had a great stay in the Horizon Hotel for 5 days. Great value too!

Overall, the hotel and everything about it was excellent (to include a substantial breakfast). However, I wish I would have known that there was construction going on, on both sides of the hotel which caused early morning noise and noise throughout the day). Had I known that, I probably would have chosen a different hotel.

Hotel was conveniently located near many good restaurants, all within walkable distance. Rooms are good size for my family of five. Staff was friendly, helpful and able to offer recommendations when asked. Value for money.

Great location. Very good service. Limited common areas and amenities. A very nice 3 star hotel. Views may be excellent if the fog clears.

Staff were friendly and helpful, but during our stay, there was construction next door which was disturbing sleep as early as 7:30-8:00 am and sporadically throughout the day. Not ideal if we wanted to relax in the middle of the day or before dinner. Unless you're planning to stay out all day and only come back during the evening, the construction can be hear especially throughout the higher floors. Otherwise, hotel was fine.

The Sapa Horizon Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the “city in the clouds” in northern Vietnam. This cozy and well-run hotel offers delicious, plentiful breakfasts and stunning views from corner balcony rooms overlooking the mountains and rooftops. The staff are friendly, with Manager David going beyond to assist with transportation and travel plans. The hotel’s convenient location makes it easy to explore the area’s attractions, such as trekking routes,, hill tribe villages, and the glass bridge. I stayed four nights and could have easily stayed longer. Highly recommended!
