Bed size of twin room is quite small. There were someone’s hairs left at bathroom when we arrived. It is an old building without a lift, and the room does not have air conditioner. The staff at reception is friendly, and the location is fine. It is overpriced, I will not visit this hotel again.

酒店職員很好，陳設很舊，但房間也整潔，洗澡水壓可以，但去水渠不行，在企缸洗澡時，腳下的水一直去不到，洗澡的髒水一直會浸到腳眼。 而酒店位置在山下，要去任何景點、去機場的車和去坐National express都要走大斜坡到上山，而且路面是超級凹凸不平的大斜坡，看酒店地圖和評論時以為很方便所以便訂了這間酒店，誰知道第一天找酒店時便出意外，差點車人帶行李箱滾下去，幸好及時拉得著行李箱，但腳跟就扭到了。

Open and draw up the wooden louvres as it is windy at night. Otherwise, the louvres got blown up and make noises. Doors will also be blown shut.

Good condition but a bit far away from old city
The hotel is beautiful and big even I stayed in a single room with full service. Bed are comfortable and good WIFI is provided. Reception will show you the ways to travel around Edinburgh and map is available. However, free breakfast is not included and there is no restaurant nearby the hotel. And check in time on 14:00 is too late which waste many time to get around (Edinburgh business hours are usually 17:00 to 18:00) A little bit far away from the Royal miles (old downtown district), a 20-25 mins walks to there is a must because many streets are on the slopes and strong wind are usual in there.

Plus: Great breakfast, good location, good overall value for money. Minus: Housekeeping did not attend room once during my 3 nights/2 day stay. Was not provided with any information on check in, had to search the room for the info book to find out when breakfast was served and what the wifi password was.

Disappointing Hotel
Stayed in Room 309There were a number of issues with the room which I would mainly have described as annoyances but over the short period of time we were in the room they started to add up and culminated with a major issue in that we had no hot water on Saturday morning. We called reception to report this and received a call back to say a couple of boilers had been fau Shabby appearance - stained carpet and large stains on bathroom ceiling. The bedroom Venetian blind was faulty. The TV came on of it’s own accord at three points during the night! In the morning the TV no longer had a signal so we were unable to watch any programs. Lastly, on leaving the hotel the hand sanitiser was empty. This was around 10am, I would have expected, given the current situation, that it would be refilled at the very least first thing in the morning. As you can expect we were extremely disappointed with our stay and hope that you will consider some sort of recompense for having provided us wit( such poor service.
