Beautiful downtown hotel.

It is a very nice hotel that we have stayed in several times. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. My only complaint is that the staff did not greet us the way they used to. Maybe to busy on their cell phones, who knows. We do not purchase the breakfast, so I can not comment on that. The indoor pool is nice too.

Stayed here two nights. The room and bathroom were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is run down. We had issues with the elevator not working. I had issues with my room key not working. Everything looks and feels dated but it is a good location. Shower floors are very slick. We asked for interior shower floor mats and they gave us terry bath mats. Not a great solution to an obvious safety concern. The breakfast buffet is straight up terrible, especially for it being $14 per person. Came down at 9:30am (30 minutes before the buffet closes) two days in a row and there was no coffee. Just a big empty pot. Had to go seek out kitchen staff for coffee, which they provided one cup at a time. A homeless man wandered around the front entrance for a while before coming it right at 10 and helping himself to food. Not sure if hotel staff is aware of that or not. That might be concerning to some guests. Appreciated that the hotel has a snack pantry with lots of snack and drink options and the prices are reasonable. Front desk staff were polite and provided a good recommendation for a nearby breakfast place on the second day (Weeze’s). Tip: go there! It’s less expensive than the hotel buffet and it’s good food. Also the parking lot flooded on on side and you could see all of the oil in it. Folks parked on that side of the building had to walk through it. Fortunately we parked on the other side!!

Comfortable with great amenities

Nice hotel. Great buffet style breakfast, though there is a charge. Rooms arr clean and comfortable. Could be bigger rooms. Quaint bar with inexpensive house drinks and tasty appetizers. Thursdays they have happy hour with half priced drinks and appetizers. All around a great stay in a nice, historical small city. Laundry and fitness room are also available.

I paid in advance for a king room. At check in we were told that because of overbooking we were downgraded to a queen. No apology, just a pouty face look. The parking lot was flooded so we had to park in the street. We were told that the agent would try to let the parking patrol know, but she wouldn't guarantee. There was a strong oder of cigarettes smoke in the lobby. There is mold in the shower and along the door frames in the room. The room was big and the beds were comfortable.

Missing shower curtain

The room did not have a shower curtain when I checked the room. The receptionist did not know how to retrieve a shower curtain for me so I had to wait until the next morning to shower.

Worst experience ever

I will never use Hotels.com again. No live operators to talk to about changes in reservations or errors. I purchased trip insurance and was charged double. Worst booking exoerience of my 60 years. This company sucks. I will tell anyone I know to never use Hotels.com

Not the best Hilton I've ever stayed in!

Front desk staff were not dressed professionally, were chewing food while they were checking us in. Bed was not comfortable and the pillows were sooooo flat! The bathroom shower looked dirty. The view from our room was the roof top of the drive through. The breakfast was cold and bland. The restaurant staff was very friendly.

Dirty and disappointing

The main reason I booked was for the hot tub it was empty and closed. The shower head was dirty and full of lime build up and had no pressure to even wash off with. There was a spill of some sort in the elevator and hall when we got there and it was still there at check out l. Not clean at all l. The breakfast was not good dried up and crunchy biscuits and over cooked bacon and sausage. Would not recommend.
