We took a chance and tried it based on the reviews of others. Yes, the room itself was very clean and neat. It was small, but clean. The problem we had was the poor appearance and exterior condition of the buildings. And the neighborhood was equally as sketchy. We were not comfortable staying there, so we left and found other lodging.

I pulled up to the office —or rather, couldn't get near it—as the lot was taken up by 3-5 large trucks and more than a half dozen men hanging out, blocking the entire area. I waited for a bit to see if they would move or clear. I felt unsafe and left the area to find another place to stay. I will be working with my provider to obtain a refund.

This is a local motel, and you get exactly that experience. However, the location is amazing. It's right on the water, and they have a lovely sitting area with tables and chairs, so you can sit and enjoy the river and sunset. The room is basic but is exactly as described. The front desk is friendly, the hotel has a private parking area, and the area felt safe.

Cool old school hotel in a convenient location and with a great view of the river. If you want simple, clean and reasonably priced, this is a good choice. If you are a Four Seasons person, good luck… and keep driving for 5-6 hours.

Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was helpful. The room is clean with everything a family needs for a short stay. We stayed for a night on the way on our road trip. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone for a short stay. This place is far better than the standard hotels we stayed.

Person at check in could not give me a receipt or even tell me how much they charged my credit card. The printer Jam so I went back later and they still could not give me a receipt or tell me the fee. It is two stories and only looks like one story in the picture. No elevators so must use stairs. This was a big problem for us due to limited Mobility, but the front desk person did not care. Room was clean. No ice
