They cancelled my room without any phone call when i arrived hotel. Very rude way to communicate with me. If i visit London again, i will definitely not select Sonder series Hotels.

Kommer ändå gärna tillbaka

Hotellet och dess service var toppen, nära till tuben, nära till shopping och restauranger. Stort rymligt rum och liten liten toalett och dusch, räckte hur bra som helst. Inga kort att håll resa på utan endast kod till både entrén och rummet. Vi skulle gärna bo här igen men då blir det frukost ute. För oss som kommer från Sverige med hög standard när det kommer till frukost, så var det nästan pinsamt. Kaffe, färsk juice och små youghurt var topp. Onödigt massa bullar med kanel och choklad. Vi saknade skinka, ägg, gurka och tomat i skivor tex.

Functional, clean, close to tube station

Close to gloucester road station, check in by code with 24 hour receptionist but the place feels robotic because there is no need to speak to receptionist, nor the room "speaks to you". Room is small with no personal touch. However, everything you need as a place to sleep overnight and close to tube station is there. Consistent with most reviews. No pleasant or unpleasant surprises

Clean room with comfortable bed. Iron & hairdryer was an added bonus. Ideal location for an evening at the Royal Albert Hall as only a short walk away. Breakfast was limited, by 9.30am there was very little left so would recommended getting there early. Not quite as luxurious a stay as we had hoped from the photos - room was very small and on ground floor with ventilation units outside window. Check in via the Sonder app was straight forward.

Coffee machine takes too long and doesn’t work properly . Breakfast buffet almost empty at 9 am…safe not working; shower so small with fixed shower head so you cannot enter without wetting yr hair … no cleaning service of the room … this hotel looks like an hotel for zombies …dirty carpet in hallway. I was not given the room allocated on my confirmation note… no reason given … top floor room with no possibility to properly open the only window…

Schwache Kommunikation, unfaire Abwicklung – nicht

Das gebuchte große Doppelzimmer entpuppte sich als Kellerzimmer mit kleinem Fenster. Nach mehrfachen Vertröstungen landete der Aufenthalt dauerhaft in einem Einzelzimmer. Beide Zimmer entsprechen nicht den Beschreibungen und den Fotos mit großen Fenstern. Weitere Zimmer habe ich nicht gesehen und kann deshalb nicht vergleichen. Trotz mehrfacher Kontaktversuche erfolgt bisher keine konkrete Rückerstattung, nur automatische Antworten von Sonder. Positiv hervorzuheben ist lediglich das Frühstück mit kleiner, aber ordentlicher Auswahl. Fazit: Irreführende Zimmerbeschreibung, schwache Kommunikation und mangelnder Service. Nicht empfehlenswert für Reisende, die Transparenz und Zuverlässigkeit erwarten.

Decent but tiny. Clean but no airconditioning. Friendly staff. No amenities really. London overall is really overpriced and no value for money. The same prices in the Middle East, Turkey, East Asia, Africa, even South America will get you infinitely more. It's becoming too much.
