Terrible Experience – Money Stolen & Zero Accountability - DONT EVER STAY HERE
I stayed at the Best Western Rutgers Hotel and discovered after returning home that $75 USD had been stolen from my bag. I reported it to the hotel and was told someone would investigate and call me back. No one ever did.
When I followed up myself, the front desk staff (Luke) dismissed my concern, implied I’d “left the money somewhere else,” and told me to file a police report , even after I explained I’m not a U.S. resident. No transparency, no investigation shared, no accountability.
I’ve stayed at hotels around the world and have never experienced theft or such unprofessional, defensive customer service. This was my first time staying at a Best Western and likely my last.
