When my husband and I checked in, we asked for a quiet room away from the elevator. They put us in a room right near a loud bar, and after midnight, in our pajamas, we had to pack up and move rooms. The night clerk was very helpful. She even stated that she always tries to place guests away from that bar on the weekends because of the noise. However, when I subsequently called the hotel manager, Jeff Mercado, he was very rude and did not want to help us or offer us any compensation for our tremendous inconvenience. We have been Hilton Honors members for many years, and we were treated very poorly by Mr. Mercado who should be trying to make amends for his clerk's lack of training or ignorance placing us in this very noisy room requiring a middle of the night move. A hotel run by a non customer service oriented manager like Mr. Mercado is a hotel to avoid.
