stayed here a few nights. very cute local dive! room was clean and ear plugs were provided and worked well to block out the noise from the bar. owner was very nice. loved the overall vibes and was a great local experience!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was nothing fancy, and we had to share a bathroom, but we had no problems. It was very loud at night with the bar underneath. The people made this experience great for us. We are from Georgia and came off season. We were watching the Falcons, and the locals joined in and cheered for our team! We really loved talking to the people of Talkeetna. They made it very special for us. I can’t wait to go back and stay in the same place!

Historic hotel
Historic building with renewed rooms. There is a bar with live music downstair. It is not a problem for me, but, keep in mind. Check in and check out very easy. I recommend and gonna go back!

The rooms are above a bar and there was a band playing but luckily they wrapped up by 7 pm. The room was so tiny barely enough room for a full-size bed and one table. But the room and bathrooms were very clean. The evening bartender Heather was very nice, the day bartender wasn't.

A quaint place but is above a bar but that might it was karaoke and was nice to listen to. Rooms clean, bathrooms shared but clean. Food options from various food trucks were good. We would stay here again.

Unique lodging option in hip Talkeetna— seven rooms, roadhouse style, with a must-see historic bar and music venue on the main floor below. The rooms are comfy and newly renovated. It’s an older building and the music carries, so this place isn’t for everyone— but if you want to be in the center of the action Fairview Inn can’t be beat!

Basic, somewhat spartan rooms, but clean. Bathrooms were great, particularly the showers. Price was very reasonable for Alaska, and Talkeetna is too cute for words. Gets a little loud at night due to the bar downstairs, especially on karaoke night, but they do provide earplugs in the rooms. Overall, a much nicer place than I was expecting or willing to tolerate in the middle of Alaska.

Sehr einfache, zentrale, laute Unterkubft
Ich habe eine günstige Unterkunft für eine Nacht gesucht und hier gefunden. Check-In völlig unkompliziert, Zimmer wirklich sehr einfach. Die Musik aus der Bar unter dem Zimmer ist bis weit in die Nacht gut zu hören. Dafür ist die Lage super und das historische Gebäude ist alleine schon einen Besuch wert.

It was exactly as advertised. Room was over a busy local historic bar just as advertised and the owners went out of the way to insure the authenticity promised.
