Das B&B liegt an einer Kreuzung mitten im Wald. Man hört zwar die paar Autos, aber das störte mich nicht. Es gab einen self-check-in, was ein wenig befremdlich wirkte, da kein Mensch dort war, als man das große Haus betreten hat. Das Zimmer war schön, sehr sauber, das Bett bequem, man konnte dort sehr gut schlafen. Die Fenster ließen sich auch öffnen. Der Ofen funktionierte anfangs nicht, aber nach einem kurzen Anruf kam gleich die Besitzerin und hat geholfen. Einzig die Wasserleitungen sind ziemlich verrostet. Zum Zähneputzen braucht man gekauftes Wasser und nach dem Duschen roch die Haut nach Eisen. Ansonsten ganz unkompliziert. Es gibt eine Mini-Küche ohne Fenster und einen Kühlschrank, in dem man sich bedienen kann. Zudem gibt es Trinkwasser auf dem Flur. Das Geschirr muss abgewaschen werden. Im Zimmer weiß man nicht genau, wo man das Frühstück hinstellen soll. Alles in allem aber eine schöne Unterkunft.

we checked in around 9 pm and was dark out. no staff at the location . felt little spooky at the beginning, called the Inn Keeper and she explained about the building. It was a old building but it was clean . had a small kitchenette which was very convenient for us. they had every thing you need for a Breakfast. i had not issues for a one night stay. beautiful lake near this stay.

Charming inn with an easy check in/out procedure. My room had a tilt to it from an uneven foundation so the bed alignment was a little difficult to get used to. Overall I liked the ambiance and antique decor. Breakfast was a little lacking.

We never saw a member of the staff, it was self check in and out. There was supposed to be breakfast included, nothing. Maybe during a different season? The building was built in 1832 and was very charming. The rooms were comfortable. Kind of off the beaten path and no restaurants or stores around.

This is a no-contact Inn with a phone number for the Innkeeper posted. Very nice room, but the latch on the bathroom door didn’t work so you had to place something against the door to keep it closed. The lamp bulb by the night stand was dead but we switched it with another one in the room. We appreciated the breakfast offerings, kitchenette, white noise machine, and reasonable price.

The inn was lovely with a nice historic charm as expected. Self check-in was easy. The room was clean and had what we needed as well as the common kitchenette area, however leaving early we did not want to wake anyone so used it minimally. We were not aware that the restaurant and bar had closed and found ourselves at the deli for some pizza. Overall experience was nice and would return if we were in the area.

The Inn is very special and we definitely enjoyed staying in there. Although we did not have a chance to meet them in person, the host have been very responsive to our enquiries during our stay. There are some flaws which could be easily be corrected. The freshness of the breakfast food should be better monitored and the room does not have a hair dryer. May be also a good idea to have the small kitchen on the same floor as the dining tables.

Avoid the downstairs room.
Well it started out OK. The wall-to-wall carpeting in my room was very dirty. Thn an area rug is placed on top which is a tripping hazard. The worst is that I had a downstairs room and the people above me above at 5 am and I was awoken by loud footsteps on top of my head.

Place lacks from being able to meet someone as we expected for a place identified as an Inn. Advertised continental breakfast is basic in a self-served kitchenette on the middle floor without any adjacent sit-down area. Mini-fridge in room was not cleaned and had leftovers from a past customer. Parking was good.

There was no host during entire stay. The host was a (g)host. You enter an empty house. Kitchenette in common area was filled with the same dirty, moldy dishes the entire stay. The bathroom smelled like septic tank. Bathroom door did not latch. Felt like a ghost town of year's past.

Les photos ne représente pas les chambres. J avais choisi une chambre luxueuse… on repassera Plancher tellement croche que le lit et table de chevet même pas à niveau. La porte de la salle de bain de fermait pas. Plancher tellement pas à niveau qu il y avait plein d eau près de la douche dans la salle de bain. Quand je suis arrivé, j ai mis les pieds dans l eau et le tapis dans la salle de bain était tout mouillé. Le papier de toilette était presque vide et pas un rouleau de remplacement, personne à la réception donc on ne peut pas demander du papier toilette … le seul côté positif, les draps étaient propre et très silencieux la nuit étant donné que nous sommes au milieu de nul part Ne vaut pas le prix!!
