Not a La Quinta quality
This hotel is nowhere near La Quinta standards. We had to see three different rooms and ended up settling on the last because we were already late for a funeral service. The first two rooms were very outdated and didn’t even have phones. One had a recliner that looked like it had been dragged in from an alley somewhere. The last room was handicapped accessible and had a jacuzzi that was old and nasty. All the fixtures were outdated and the lamps were all rusty. This hotel should be priced the same as an old Motel 6 not in the range of the higher end hotels.

Like staying at a pay by the hour motel.
I was appalled at the condition of this hotel. I had to unscrew more than one light bulb to turn off the lights. Although the AC was set at 68°, the room was musty and humid. The sheets were stiff and smelled strongly of bleach. I could feel all the springs in the mattress. The sheets and blanket felt oddly damp. On top of all of this, my noted request was ignored. I requested an early check-in of just one hour. I noted this in more than one area, during my reservation, and in my early online check-in. However, when I arrived, no one was aware of this very important detail. The employees were uncaring and dismissive. When I spoke to the manager, she was unsympathetic. She told me there were no rooms available because none of them had yet to be cleaned at 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon. The manager finally allowed me to check in 30 minutes early after I was on the verge of a meltdown. I also had two other family members staying in other rooms during the same nights as myself. Both were similarly displeased with the conditions of their rooms. I will never stay at this hotel again and I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. I would rather stay in the next town if there isn't anything else available.
These are small details that don't cost a lot of money and make a big difference.
Not even the towel rack was straight.
The dresser was damaged.

The room was clean but the key never opened the door instead of giving us another key the front desk would just come and open the door for us! The tv remote wouldn’t turn it off! After several attempts we just unplugged it!

Literally the worst nights sleep ive ever had at a hotel. Pillows are paper thin and worthless, beds are ridiculously hard. We travel to Alice often but wont be back here.

We arrived around 130 to ask ot a 1 night stay and was told no availability until 3 and no downstairs. So we went online to order and got downstairs but waa told to wait 45 minutes. Not hunter frendly and posted signs not to fill coolers. Hunters please think twice. We had a 3 PM hunt so couldn't check in until 9PM. Was denied early check in at 150PM with reservation. Would submit photos but will not load

A/C dripping water
Room was nice and cool on arrival. Only issue was that the room A/C unit was leaking condensation water and the carpet was saturated. Reported issue to front desk but the carpet stayed wet our entire stay. Needs to be fixed because of potential mold issues. Everything else was fine.

Was disappointed in this La Quinta. It’s a strange brand because some properties are impeccable and some like this one leave a lot to be desired. Lobby smelled of mildew, room smelled the same. The area of the room near the outer wall where the air conditioner was, was soaking wet because the air conditioner was leaking water all over the floor. The room showed general spots of wear and tear. The shower had lost of water stains and small areas falling apart. The bed and linens were thankfully clean. I showed the staff the wet floor problem and commented about the smell. Was disappointed I was not offered something for my troubles. At check in the young lady working the desk was very pleasant. Overall for a hotel room over $100 this stay was a major letdown.

Weekend Party
Was ok but room needs to be updated. Shower is poor, desk chair in room is terrible, old leather is all scratched off very poor, furniture is old carpet is stained as well as furniture chair by bed. Door in restroom is in need of repair paint at bottom is coming off and blustered.
