Family trip
We booked a King room with a pullout that said it slept 5. When we checked in there was only a king bed. The front desk easily rectified it and moved us to a room that accommodated our family. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. The room was great with lots of room for everyone. Only complaint was that they clearly hadn’t vacuumed our room be cause I stepped on several used Bobby pins and there was food wrappers under the table. I did ask for a vacuum and they brought us one so we could vacuum our room.

Comfortable beds, clean room, conveniently located just off the freeway. We took advantage of the indoor pool/hottub and coffee in the morning. I would stay here again.

This hotel is a great place to stay. The only complaint that I have is that as a MORNING coffee ☕️ drinker I wished that the front desk would carry extra coffee packets for the coffee maker in the room. I prefer 2 cups of CAFFINATED coffee to drink in my room once I wake up. I had 1 packet of caffinated coffee in my room. I woke up early about 5 AM ,I had taken my small dog to use the bathroom and stopped by the front desk to get another for my room. I was informed that the packets were in the housekeeping carts. And i could get a cup of coffee to take to my room. I REALLY didn't want to be carrying a HOT cup of coffee all the way to my room while taking my 25lb dog back to my room or carrying a HOT cup of coffee along with my breakfast to my room. And I don't drink coffee after breakfast. If a person is checking out at 11 and housekeeping usually runs around 8 AM AFTER breakfast, didn't make sense for me to ask for coffee I would not be drinking AFTER breakfast. Otherwise the stay was great including the staff.

Unpleasant stay.
Our room had two BIG spiders a large wasp then after they supposedly sprayed for bugs, came back to a huge roach. None of them were dead either. Most of the time no one at the desk, had to wait on towels and the beds were so old the sides were hard ridges and you rolled to the middle. Hard to share beds. No roll aways.

I travel this time of year from Dallas to Fairfield for our family reunion. A lot of the family stay here. For at least the last 3 or 4 years. For 1st time i was disappointed. The room was clean but smelled of dampness mildew almost. There were crickets everywhere. Cockroaches. There were flies and little nats. I turned the temperature way down and killed the flies and the nats. Some personally. I still will stay there. There are not a whole lot if choices and i feel maybe it was just a bad day. Also, did not like that the attendee left my signed check-in sheet on the counter. I had to ask him to put it up when i see it still there when i came back through. Not sure if the i s any personal info on there. I didnt really read it but it was not comforting. Otherwise, Its a newer hotel and convenient. Hopefully, this was a one off. See you guys next year

It was a good stay. We have a pet, they have a nice pet area. My husband didn’t think the AC was working correctly, we always take a fan that helped. Would stay there again.

Stay elsewhere
The Manger was trying so hard to keep up by herself with check ins. She really needs more staff. She was kind & courteous. Some of the things at this hotel are out of her control. I’m sure she has told management the issues at hand. It’s obvious it comes from a higher power that they are not resolved. Fleas & crickets chirping in my room that kept me up. The room smells as if it’s mildewed. They allow pets but it’s obviously not cared for like it should be. My dog scratched with fleas all night. The lights flickered. The plumbing under the sink is exposed and looks like something from an abandoned home. The exit door remains unlocked always and anyone can get it. It’s not safe. I would have traveled a lot further to have something better than this.
