Cute, comfortable and Well Appointed
Super cute cottages that were very well appointed. Comfortable bed, a thermostat driven gas fireplace for heat and a retro feel made this feel special. We were greeted by the host with a hot buttered rum and the next morning breakfast baskets were brought to the room. Highly recommend! It was too cold for us to enjoy the garden space but there were picnic tables, and enclosed bubble sitting area and lounge chairs. Just 30 mins from Astoria; we're so glad we found this little gem of a place.

Updates since our last stay there.
The first room (#3) felt small due to size of bed. Could hear the family next door so requested to be moved, which they were able to do. Beds and seating in both were not that comfortable (low to the ground, didn’t support our backs). Kitchen no longer has oven. French press and water pot for coffee. Fridge pretty full of items they were selling so left little room for the items we bought for meals. Breakfast is continental only. Welcome drink was delicious,,

Our favorite place, no matter what the season is! We come in the summer, it’s the best! But we come in the winter and it’s so cozy, warm and welcoming, too! Pumpkins all around, wreathes for the winter season, fireplaces are blazing warm to come “home” to, the beds are amazing, so comfortable.

We loved the creative ambiance of Drifthaven…lovely attention to details that matter…comfy bed…squishable pillows and crisp white sheets..Lullabye tea at bedtime! loved the wonderful restaurant across the street…more attention to detail… plus their absolutely fabulously yummy scones and croissants from the bakery the morning we left…going to Drifthaven is a treat for the soul.

I love staying at the Drifthaven. They really sweat the details that make every stay special. Each room is more like sisters than twins in that they have different art and little touches that make them unique and homey. It must be said that their garden area is also so cute with a variety of seating options when the weather cooperates.

It was a cute little place. Beds to close to the floor. No refrigerator, for you stuff. No ice any we're on the property. I thought it was ocean front , not even close. I just expected more for that kind of money. I would not stay again. Sorry. But we like lce and a refrigerator i had medicine to put in there . Not my cup of tea

We were welcomed warmly and treated like real guests. It was charming and quiet and the area around there was safe, walkable and very pleasant. It was a perfect walk to the beach. They have so many special amenities as well. Can't wait to return.

We only stayed 2 nights at Drifthaven but my wife and I loved it. The room was homey and clean. Staff drop off a basket of fruit, juice, and pastries every morning. We arrived quite late but check-in was easy and convenient with everything handled via email. We appreciated that there was parking right outside the room. The property has a nice little garden area where can sit and enjoy the evening. All in all great places to stay, highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with all details carefully considered--from the french press coffee with great mugs to drink from, to the breakfast baskets delivered in the morning, to the cute garden area for gathering. It was a joy staying here and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. Will stay here again for sure!

We had a delightful stay at The Drifhaven! The room was well dressed, making it comfortable, homey and welcoming. The mattress and bedding were amazing. Everything you might need is provided! The grounds were well kept and the fire pits were fun. Delicious homemade smore's! We were able to walk to the beach and local shops. Would definitely stay here again!
