I stayed at one in Scranton with was good but only 1 chair to sit on? We had been traveling and didn’t want to sit on a bed! Shower was great. and one in Wyethville which had an ok one. Tub for a shower was ok but big BR. But I carry wipes with me and had to clean off TV as it had plenty of dust on it?? They were a place to sleep which is what we needed!

We liked the suite but the property needs cleaning and upgrading. Our room had several deficiencies such as bathroom fan not working. Dryer in laundry riom not working. When mentioned to staff at check out they said they were sorry and went in to answer a phone call

This was a stop for a long trip. Before booking the stay I called to make sure a late check out was available, was told it was. When checking in I again asked for a late check out. Even asked if I need to pay a fee for the it. Was told no fees for it. She told me 3pm was the latest. Which was fine we planned to hit out by 2pm. My friend who didn’t get in till 6am could sleep before hitting the road again. 10am house keeping knocked and woke us up. Told them we had a late check out. 11:50 office called. (Couldn’t answer the phone was broken) 12pm house keeping came back. I told them again we had a late check out. She said that was fine. 12:15pm another phone call. (Answered on speaker this time) At this point we just got up and left because they said there was not request for a late check out and the lady seemed annoyed at this point. The young lady that checked me in was holding a baby. Which didn’t bother me but I should have made sure she put it in. Bath tub was covered in hair, I bring my own cleaning supplies for the bathroom. Floors needed vacuumed. The good thing is the bed was very comfortable even tho we didn’t get the rest we needed.

Disappointed in this Fairfield property. Room was dirty and had flat pillows on the bed. Stains on the floor. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Breakfast was horrible…seems like they were trying to cut corners on cost. If you wanted fruit, had to ask for it. Milk was warm and curdled. Oatmeal was uncooked. Dirty chairs in the breakfast area.

There was no cold water in the shower! I burnt myself slightly. We also found a 10 legged bug in the bathroom scared the crap out of my wife. We told the staff and got no response from them!

Unorganized chaos
Check in wasn't good as the desk stated "the expedia virtual card was declined". I advised I had a confirmation for the booking and my bank account showed the charge for the room. Once we got through that, we get to our room and it's not the correct room so we go back to the desk and are informed "Mariott is booking rooms we won't have". I booked a king and ended up with 2 doubles. Then in the morning, our room phone rings and on 3 separate occasions, the hotel staff trys to enter the room stating "our system shows you already checked out". Overall the property was fine and Jeff at the desk was as well. Someone needs to get things in order to make sure the process works better. Customers won't want to deal with all the hassle when it should be simple. Fyi, the customer ahead and behind us had issues as well. Then when we came down to advise we had the wrong room, the customer checking in then was having issues as well.

For us it served its purpose very well. A place to stay the night. We drove from Michigan and were headed to South Carolina. We’ve stopped in Wytheville twice now and this was by far the better choice !!… thank you for your hospitality!
