Good stay

Clean room, comfortable bed when I needed something housekeeping came right away. Only negative is the parking. Parking spaces were very small and could barely fit my SUV ! Just hope other drivers are as considerate as I was getting in and out of the car not to hit the others. Will stay there again. Very short walk to the beach and boardwalk

Its fine if you want to be in the beach area

The room was clean, though some of the pictures insinuated that the hotel next door was part of the facility. Thats all ok, but for just a little more you can get a place that has on site parking, includes breakfast, or a beachfront view. Compared to some of the other resorts of a similar price, its kind of a one-ice-machine small joint. Of intetest the tv was a mixed bag too. You can broadcast anything from your personal streaming accounts on your phone, as long as you go though the in house internet, but you need a lot of patience to figure out how to flip back to regular broadcast. It does have a rooftop pool though, and its absolutely a stones throw away from the beach and boardwalk, but its not beachfront or luxurious by any stretch.

Our saving grace

After a horrific experience at The Commander in which we only stayed a night, we quickly left and headed to the Monte Carlo. The room was spacious, smelled great, clean and comfortable. This hotel was definitely the saving grace for our family vacation.

Will never stay here again!

The staff was very pleasant. However, the bed looked like it hadn't been changed, the room smelled like mold, the tub was disgusting, and the hold tub had black rings around it. Also, the parking was horrible and the rates were way too expensive for what we got. By the way the pool only goes to 3 feet and the bar had no liquor. There is 1 elevator with 6 floors.

The location was good. We stayed Mon-Fri and only had room service come on the last night after requesting it several times. The “comforters” were thinner then t shirts and when we asked for additional blankets we were told they didn’t have anything. When walking past other rooms being cleaned we can see the other rooms had real blankets. When we finally got room service we were given 4 bath mats instead of towels… but the location was convenient. Also the “pool bar” is not a real bar, warm beer and wine only.

Must Stay!

I’ve stayed at this location several times and it never disappoints. The AC in my room during this trip wasn’t working correctly and they switched my room with no questions asked which was perfect! Thanks Monte Carlo staff it’s always a pleasure staying with you guys!!!

The housekeeping had trash and dirty bedding in the hall all day. No pool towels at either pool any of the 5 days. No extra towels or blankets. "They don't have extra" and when asked they said they ran out of laundry detergent to clean anything... stuck my trashcan in the hall when housekeeping was on our floor because it was full, they took the bag and didn't leave a replacement bag, so I had to hunt down the cart and take my own...and my favorite the elevator barely opened on our floor... like the only floor it won't work on. Only once in a while it worked. Most time we had to go to the floor above and walk down the stairs. (Not fun with a stroller) They said they were gonna fix it but apparently didnt. We've stayed in this hotel before and loved it, that's why we chose it this year. Very disappointed
