We really liked this hotel. The area felt safe and there were lots of restaurants close by. Everything was clean and all the staff we encountered were very pleasant. The breakfast was very good.

We traveled from out of state for a funeral. So glad we chose Holiday Inn Express in Shawnee, OK.. It was super clean with a hot breakfast bar. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will choose this hotel every time we are back visiting family from now on.

I was there visiting high school friends and scouting for my move back. The hotel was very accommodating to me as I came in a day earlier than my reservation and stayed a day later. The ladies at the front desk and everyone I ran into that worked there were phenomenal. So friendly and helpful. The only thing negative I have to say is there were a lot of big work trucks there and there was not enough parking and they parked in the handicap which led me to have to park in the very back where it was dark.

The elevator was broken during our whole stay. The outdoor pool was off limits - it was chained with a sign that said out of order. It was full of dark muddy water. The AC in the room only worked if you changed the thermostat to 65, but then you would freeze! We adjusted it to 66 at bedtime but it didn’t run all night, so we were all hot and sweaty. Both beds had bed sheets that had several strands of black hair and several stains (one was a shoe print). We tried calling the front desk but realized the phone on the desk had no cord connected to a wall. I tried calling 3 times from my cell phone but never got through. We had to walk down to the front desk to ask for sheets and a comforter for the pull out couch. They also gave us extra pillows, which was kind, but they also had hairs on them. My bed was comfy and the comforter was nice too. The couch pullout was dirty so my child slept on the cushions instead. Breakfast was decent. We liked the omelets and the pancake making station. Good variety of food for breakfast. When we checked out, they didn’t even ask us how our stay was.

The hotel lobby, elevator, and rooms were filthy. Dirt everywhere and places that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. The bed must was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. Halls were very dark (probably so you couldn’t see how dirty it was). The desk clerk was kind and easy to work with, but the overall impression with the hotel and stay was not good.

We had a large moving truck with a car hauler and they were able to accommodate us. Many convenient dining options that were walkable.
