This has been the worst experience I've ever had. The hotel looks like hasn't been remodeled for ages. I read the reviews and it has been a while since the elevator hasn't been fixed and yeah, at least for two months it's still down. The cleanliness of ALL the hotel is poor. I got room 407, when I opened the door, it stank like cigarette and something else that I wonder what was it. A cleaning lady was three rooms away so I approached her asking whether she knew if there were more rooms available near because the one I got smelled so bad, well she got mad and told me that she just cleaned that room. I told her it stank and she said it was impossible and blame it on the smoking area outside (5 floors below), I insisted that as a former smoker I knew for sure that someone smoked in the room, she just sprayed a deodorant and of course, made it worse. I asked for a different room and they gave me another one but to my surprise, it was stinky as well. We were 6 person's in a business trip and I asked them about the conditions of their rooms and they mentioned the same plus the smell to urine in some of the bathrooms. We decided to move to another hotel. Unfortunately one of our crew, left a pair of sneakers, called the front desk and they told that they got them at the front desk, we went to pick them up at 3:30 am but to our surprise there was another lady and said: "They are not here, do you see them? No, so they are not here" all this in a very rude tone. Awful experience.

I found this hotel and staff great everyone was super friendly the room was comfortable I’ll definitely recommend this place.

Rooms need updating. Elevators didn’t work and we had a room on the fourth floor. First floor reeked of marijuana smoke.

It's a decent hotel for family stay or a quick trip to Richmond. Remember this is not a fancy , contemporary modeled hotel for a romantic get away.

The pool was scheduled to be open. It was not open and they did not tell us at any point it was not going to be ready until a later date until I went and asked. That was the main thing we were looking for in booking a hotel. Everything else was good though, even had breakfast in the morning.

Beds were comfortable. Upstairs ice machine was empty, but it was late and the place was busy. Downstairs snack vendor was out of order due to disgruntled customers, judging by the damage. Breakfast was a sack full of cereal, apple, granola bar; I assume this is basic COVID breakfast fare for a continental breakfast. Was hoping for a bowl and small milk for cereal but that’s extra cost so I can understand, but with that being said...maybe cereals easier to eat dry like Frosted Flakes and not Rice Krispies?

I requested a king size bed on the site, but none were available for either of the 2 days of my stay. Other than that, everything was fine.

One of the worse hotel experiences we have ever had. We were arriving on a 10:30 pm flight, so we had called the hotel directly before booking to confirm that their shuttle service would still be running at 11pm. We were told yes it would be. When we arrived in Richmond, we called immediately (before 11pm). We were given a number to call for a ride. We called that number over 10 times and there was no answer. We called the hotel front desk and were told to take a taxi. We tried both Uber and taxis: however, both would not take us due to the short distance. We had made the mistake of pre-paying for the hotel so we felt stuck.. (there were shuttles at that time for several other airport hotels.). We walked the mile to the hotel with our luggage (at 11:30pm). When we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait 15 minutes to check in as the one employee (who did her best) we occupied with another customer. It was around midnight when we finally were able to check in. The hotel is public areas are very dated, have low ceiling and look dirty. The room was not much better with the major issue being that it was hot and stuffy.. the air-conditioning did not cool well. Also the bed's mattress was awful, very warped in the middle. I thought it was going to fold in half and collapse. We had also been told there was breakfast which I know many hotels have had to simplify due to covid, but this was laughable... we were given a packet of cereal, with no milk available.
