Hotel is overpriced (£200+ a night for a tiny basic room), rooms are small and shabby at best. You would think they would have redecorated during the last few months when closed. Staff were obnoxious and rude, they had an attitude of entitlement. They did not inform us of the £15 a day charge for parking until we arrived, nor that the pool required a 45 min slot to use due to COVID. Never have i had this before! I complained about this as well as the room, service etc and we were upgraded which was nice but again, it needed a refresh and the wardrobe will literally squeeze two items inside. The manager Charlotte was great, but she was the only reason we didn't check out early!

The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We have eaten at another Hotel Du Vin several times before but were disappointed with the menu, unavailability of some items and the food itself - I appreciate it’s a reduced menu but the standard wasn’t as good as before

Had a pleasant stay, clean and tidy, staff were friendly. Only slightly negative comments would be, Pool temperature was set set far to low, was uncomfortably cool. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, didn't seem to have a great system in place, our drinks got forgotten and it just seemed a little out of control, also the cooked breakfast wasn't of great quality or cooked particularly well, compared to the food we had had the evening before which was very good. Overall a very nice stay though. would recommend.

We had an amazing stay for two nights. The staff are incredible and our room was comfortable and spacious. We particularly enjoyed the luxurious bathroom. If I had any minor comments I’d say that the restaurant ambience and decor was a little disappointing and is missing the wow factor that I’d expect from this level of hotel. The food was still decent tho and the again the waiting staff were lovely. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Staying for essential travel during April 2021. Felt very COVID secure and room was clean and comfortable. Look forward to staying again when I can enjoy the amenities. Car parking is first come first served so can imagine that is busy at peak times but was very convenient for me.

Slightly annoyed with £15 parking fee that I was unaware or and could have parked free across the road. Also charged for room service fee when that was all that was offered. Felt like Ryanair owned the place. Oterwse all good.
