They don't honor online reservations
As I was on my way to check-in they called me and asked me to please cancel my reservation because they're under bew management and no longer honoring online reservations. They assured me my room upon arrival but failed to mention that it would coat me double of what I paid through hotels.com. For one, WHY WOULD THEY WAIT TO TELL ME THIS WHEN I'M ALREADY ON MY WAY THERE???!!!! Canceling at that point wouldn't allow me to get my refund from hotels.com. I was extremely upset because I really needed to stay there. I ended up having to book somewhere else further from where I needed to be. All they said was "I'm sorry I know I should've called you 2 days ago but I didn't." Like if that was gonna fix the issue.
