We had paid extra to get a one bed, higher floor, city view room, but when we arrive to our room we got a two bed lower floor, no view room.
I then contacted the receptionist which said she couldn’t do anything until the next day and then we could switch room, which was fine but very inconvenient especially because we paid extra to get the room in first place.
After a city stroll we get back to a phone that’s making a weird sound, I go back to the reception and get someone up to look at it. He do not even enter the room or look at it, he just stands in the door and say he cannot fix it. I then go back to the reception to change room so we can sleep during the night, and I get met with a “we know it’s a problem in many rooms, and we cannot get moved. Luckily I keep demanding a new room to which we get moved but we still have to move again the next day.
No compensation was given for any of these inconveniences, and the staff met us with a “that is your own problem” attitude which I do not enjoy at all. Then maybe you should not sell rooms with extra charges if you cannot fulfil them. And if you have a problem several guest comment on, then fix it!
