I had a very unpleasant experience regarding the deposit charged on my credit card. At check-in, the hotel blocked a deposit amount far above what I actually consumed during my stay. At check-out, I received the invoice showing that my expenses were much lower than the deposit charged.
When I questioned this at the time of check-out, the only answer I was given was that it “depends on my bank.” Since then, I have contacted my bank twice, and both times they confirmed that no refund request was made by the hotel.
At this point, I urgently need a clear response from the hotel regarding when the refund will be processed. A hotel of this size should handle such basic financial procedures with transparency and efficiency. This situation is unacceptable, creates insecurity, and certainly makes me reconsider staying here again.
