The hotel itself was nice and the grounds well maintained. There is only aircon in your room and in the stores but the rest of the hotel is open.
We had to take a boat to the island where there hotel is so once you go to this resort, you are on this resort. Remember this place is not an all inclusive and if you plan to go into town this will cost taxi etc.
The restaurant is very disappointing, we paid 40/person/day for buffet breakfast. So this is approx. 25 Canadian. It unfortunately is not worth this. Things that should be hot are cold and all the food has no taste so we stuck with fruit. As far as dinners, the first night we ordered in and I had the steak sandwich with fries. The steak was paper thin and the fries were not cooked. My husband had fish and chips and also could not finish his meal as it was not cooked all the way through. They also do not season with salt at all. The second night we shared a shareable meal of seafood. Unfortunately there was no way to get into the crab, they put a grilled fish under everything which sogged it out but the rest was good. The restaurant service this night was ok. The last night we decided to do the Fiji buffet night and the food was ok but lacked seasoning, the show was great, but the waitstaff never ever said anything to us. I tried flagging them down to order a drink, they all made eye contact but kept walking. So we were never even given water. I was not super happy about this so I decided to chat to the manager. Not cool
