We went there and Rome by was under a state of emergency from the tornado we told them we weren’t staying g it was very dangerous concrete all by stairways and everything and they still charged our account never again

The pictures on the site were very misleading for this property, as it was run down and unkept. The room wasn't clean, had a broken nightstand, missing light bulbs, dirty floor, etc. The people staying/ living there didn't make us feel like we were in a safe area. When asked for a refund because we decided not to stay, they told me i had to go through Expedia, who then told me i would have to go through them directly. I will be filing a claim on my credit card to recoup the money.

First of all the place was for homeless people and people on parole. The staff did not provide any things for the room. They charge more money only payable in cash. $135.00 I had to get another motel I did not want my family staying in that area. Please check your motels/hotels to see if they are safe. Is there any way of getting my money back? i would appreciate it

Didn't like anything! Shabby place. Super poor! Noisy at 12:30AM called desk and was told to call 911!!! Really ! Horrible mgmt. Room needs a desparate TOTAL redo. Everything really old. Missing lite switch buttons. Terrible towels. This place has not seen an update in years. Chopped paint with 6 different colored coats of paint. This was once an EconoLodge and "Relax Inn" doesn't apply. New name needs to be the "No Sleep Inn". Should be removed from your hotel choices in Rome, NY until under new mgmt. and TOTAL tear down and rebuild is done.

This is a DSS prperty with tenants, hanging around outside. Very sketchy vibes. The furniture inside the room was stained and dirty or broken. Dusty holes in walls in need of several repairs walls are thin.

The staff was horrible made me pay $80 for my service dog they asked for her id and everything I will not be staying there ever again. It’s against the ADA to pay and to ask for ID. The room was dirty, they made us pay for extra towels when I said there was 2 of us

Grossest place ever
It was truly unbelievable how dilapidated, dirty, and disgusting this motel was. From dodgy stains on the sheets and mattress protector, to broken furniture under the stairs, to non-working lights, we moved to a second room that wasn't much better. The floors were filthy, the bathroom tiles were breaking off at the edges, the electrical outlet box was coming out of the wall, and the sheets were clearly cheap consumer from Amazon, plus they were so heavily scented with detergent/softener that my skin started to itch within minutes. I guess I should be grateful they washed them recently? It's clear that this was formerly a budget motel that was never maintained when ownership changed. The manager didn't even care to be on premises when we checked out at 7:30 am. Honestly, a zoning inspector should take a second look at the place; it's a hazard.
