What a find. Very comfortable and clean right where we were hiking in Escalante. It’s the off season, so food options are minimal. I wish we could have eaten at their restaurant.

Très bel accueil; le réceptionniste du nom de Bryce nous a servi en français. Il nous a proposé des choix de restaurants, puis très attentionné à nos demandes. Chambre spacieuse et fonctionnelle, propre.

Late arrival so called and got a room code!
Arrived late after 13 hour drive. I called earlier to let them know so Bryce gave us code for our 2 rooms. Perfect. Upon inspecting, someone forgot to clean out left over food from fridge and someone’s bathing bottom on shower curtain. I text Bryce about this next day. Came home from full day hiking thinking room cleaned. Nope! I went to office to show pictures. The house keeper came right away to clean it all out and sanitize. Our sheets (bed) and towels were clean. I’m good with that. Guy from office came and looked. I did not ever get a response from Bryce about this. I have been to Asia numerous time, I can overlook things. But someone else might not be able to! Cute place, everything you need. Not fancy, basic accommodation with great parking and wonderful to sit outside in morning for sunrise. Only downer was restaurant was closed both days we were there. Closed Monday and Tuesdays. I would stay here again, mistakes happen. Housekeeper that came to rescue was great:) Don’t hesitate to book. It’s fine.

Bryce was very welcoming and made it super easy after a long day of hiking and driving. The rooms are ok, all you need, with parking right there. Neighbor had tv loud and a barking dog, and when I went running, I could hear lots of other dogs barking in the various rooms along the way. Still, great spot to overnight between parks.

Excellent
We've stayed in many places in Escalate, but this was the first time we had stayed here and its going on the list of places we will return to. Highly recommend. It was simple, but perfectly comfortable and the cafe next door was delicious.

The room was VERY nice. Many amenities. When we arrived no one was at the desk. A person arrived but he could not tell us our door code. We left for a 5 hour hike. When we returned, still no one at the desk. 30 minutes later he texted us a door code. Why could he not have texted the door code sooner?
