We made a reservation for 3 adults and 2 kids. The room said 2 queen beds (which would not fit my family with 2 adults over 6’ and no babies/toddlers) with free optional rolling bed or cot. I figured with the extra bed it would be fine for one of the kids for one night. When we got there after driving all day, they didn’t have an extra bed for the room, and their solution was to offer us extra bedding to make a place on the floor for the 5th person. I was too tired to argue. Needless to say, my 8 year old did NOT sleep well on THE FLOOR, and after listening to him whining half the night because the floor was too hard, he ended up trying to squeeze into bed with my husband and I, which meant no sleep for me. Terrible solution provided by the front desk service rep that checked us in. Also, the rooms had an adjoining door, so they could have easily given us the adjoining room at no cost. I expect better from a Hilton owned hotel. I don’t book a hotel room for 5 people with the expectation that one will be sleeping on the floor…
