Great spot on rue Saint Denis
A rather unique type of property, this is not a hotel with a lobby and front desk etc, nor a single unit owned and rented by an individual; it's one of several small apartments in a new building, each with its own entrance from a central stairway. Location is very good, on a busy street with lots to do nearby (my unit on the top floor was not noisy at all). The unit was spacious and clean and would be great for a couple or solo traveler. There's a well equipped kitchen and a good size bathroom. There's a helpful guide to nearby cafes and restaurants. I would stay there again.

Nice happening area. Lots of restaurants nearby. Apartment exceptionally clean and quiet. We found a parking lot 2 blocks away for $15 in/out until 11 am next morning. No elevator, but that was ok.

We loved our stay and will definitely return! The hotel is in a great location for food and drinks and we enjoyed the little kitchen for quick meals before heading outs. The rooms are renovated and clean and quiet.

1- Wanted more info about parking options!!! Yes, I was told in advance about the rear parking spot, but it wasn't available for the dates I was in Montreal. I would have liked to know in advance about the parking lot on Marie-Anne & Drolet! The Plateau is very busy in late summer! We drove around for a couple of hours, before con- necting with property manager who told us about the nearby parking lot. 2- The air conditioning and heat were on during our stay.

Le propriétaire m'avais promis un remboursement car la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas un jour de canicule (il faisait 27 degré dans la chambre alors que la clim fonctionnait plein régime à 17 degré) Résultat... j'ai du dormir par terre dans le salon car il faisait plus frais ! Le propriétaire m'a promis un dédommagement, mais qu'il a s'agit de faire le virement interac plus personne !!! Donc comme promis voici votre avis à 1 étoile pour votre chambre a 300$ sans climatisation un jour de canicule. PREUVE A L'APPUI EN IMAGE

Great location, unreliable host
Great stay. Great location. Parking space in the back was really convenient, however they had double booked the spot for the first night we were there and were forced to park on the street. It was a huge inconvenience and added an extra hour to our check in process to figure it all out and get settled. Probably wouldn't stay here again due to the unreliability and communication issues.

We really enjoyed staying at Francois -Denis. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and well stocked with everything we needed. There are apartments on three floors so for anyone who has difficulty with stairs, you may wish to check location of your apt. Apt is located in ideal place in heart of Plateau neighborhood. Grocery at corner, patisserie a block away. We hope to return to Francois-Denis in the future.

This was a clean, very well-located apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. Check in was easy and communication was very good. We especially appreciated being able to reserve parking in the back alley. Only thing that could be improved is a coffee maker and coffee in the apartment.
