Although we were about 50 minutes early, we tried to check in. I think the man who checked us in could have been nicer about it. He said my room wasn’t ready and pointed to a sign that said check in at 3. Just could have said I’m sorry no early check ins. The biggest complaint is the doors stick. Got woken up this morning to banging from a door. Trying to close it I assume. The pool door also stuck and friends staying here, their door stuck. I feel like that could be a fire hazard. When you have to pull on it a couple of times to open it, you can’t get out in a hurry. If you have to close it in a hurry could be dangerous too.

Needs some updating

Was first given a room on the first floor and the beds felt damp and it smelled like mold. Linens need to be replaced. Lighting not the best. Wallpaper was peeling. Needs a lot of remodeling. The lady at the desk was nice and we were very thankful we were able to switch to the second floor which was better. Not as damp. The sheet had a stain, but the room was clean otherwise. They had lotion, conditioner, shampoo, make-up wipes, and face soap. Appreciate that there was a Keurig machine and coffee. Nice they offered breakfast. Didn't have time to check out the pool.

Stay at White River Inn

We had a three day stay. Overall, it was good. Staff was Friendly and helpful. The Pool was extremely cold...but we did it. Selection of Breakfast was minimal...Great Breakfast Staff though. The Hotel needs updating badly. Very worn. Old furniture. sinks don't drain. Floors feel sticky. Bed was comfortable. Very spacious. Exercise room was out of commission. Dirt was under the Hide-away couch. A bit overpriced due to the condition of Hotel. Excellent location to area amenities!

Don't book White River Junction

They overbooked and didn't have a room for us. We were transferred to Holiday Inn Express. Which was nice and staff helpful. Would not recommend White River Junction Inn and Suites. That place looked like a lower end apartment building instead of a hotel.

It was just okay. We were there for graduation weekend and it was less than expected for the price. No breakfast which we knew but a few mornings not even coffee or hot water for tea in the lobby, pretty disappointing. Staff was just okay too. I guess for less it might have been better.

The room was very rundown and in poor condition. There was one piece of furniture, no second security lock on the door. The original door knob was removed and the hole was simply filled and a latch placed over it. We had to request a new room and they provided us with a much nicer normal room. Surprised they did not just give us a normal nice room from the beginning

The property in the entry way and our room were very clean, front desk staff was incredibly kind and the pool area was sanitary and well kept. However on the first floor hallway on the second day of our stay an OVERWHELMING odor of cat urine wafted through the hall. It was clear this issue bothered others as a fabreze plug in had been placed in the area. It was so strong it smelled like a cat was just repeatedly urinating over and over in that area. Due to the location of our room the odor was there as soon as we opened our door. In addition at one point our door lock got stuck and the door would not lock however the front desk sent maintenance down and they fixed the lock immediately.

There was a bottle of drain cleaner that was OPENED with NO CAP just sitting in the bathroom of the public pool area. I immediately let the front desk know and they took care of it right away, but if any child had gotten a hold of that, it would’ve been absolutely terrible. All of the staff was very friendly, and the room was fine (you get what you pay for). It came with a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave which was a nice surpise. Also, the heated pool could definitely be warmer. I heard every customer that used the pool over the two days I was there say that. But nonetheless, great staff/front desk employees.

Small ants in room

We have stayed here in the past and it was fine, however this time we had ants in our room. The room seemed clean and didn’t have a smell but there was a bunch of little ants in the bathroom that made their ways to the bed area. Won’t be going back.
