It sucked

Well there is a disco on floor 15 and my room was on 19. I was there on a Friday and Saturday and it throbbed in my room. Horrible. Also it was a dogfight each night to get up to the room as the elevator went to the disco as well as the room. There was a queue wrapped around the building on Saturday too adding to the chaos. Won’t be there again!

Disappointing Value and Misleading Advertising

This inn is clean and functional, with average accommodations—standard bed, average shower, and no major issues. However, it is significantly overpriced for what is offered. The listing advertised "oceanfront views," but the reality was a dried-up bay with water barely visible beyond a long stretch of lawn. This felt misleading and contributed to a sense of being overcharged. During the same trip, I stayed at two other New England inns that delivered far superior experiences in terms of location, amenities, service, and overall value—at a lower cost. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this property, travelers should temper expectations and be aware that the online ratings and descriptions may not reflect the actual experience.

Spare of the moment trip

It was beautiful we had a nice view after the hotel fixed the mess up the pools an hot tub was great the weather was perfect. On the down side their was only 3 pillows for each bed, breakfast well the last 2 days I decided to skip because they didn’t have enough of some of the stuff on the list

Everything I want for an overnight stay.

Friendly, the folks you need are always there, the rooms are generous in size and comfort, and view of ocean from breakfast dining room! Always clean. Non-corporate feel but everything feels very professionally managed.

I was a little concerned when I booked, but I was pleasantly surprised! A nice, clean, and friendly place, but what I found best was how peaceful and comfortable it was. Probably the best night's sleep I've ever had in a hoitel.

FANTASTIC Breakfast and beautiful, clean stay! A+

We stayed here for one night on the way to Acadia, National Park. It was a little over an hour from Bar Harbor, Maine which was really nice. This hotel far exceeded our expectations! Our only regret was arriving late so we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the pools! They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, the rooms are very clean and modern, and breakfast was spectacular! We had choice of a variety of homeade mini quiches, fresh baked cinnamon rolls, blueberry coffee cake , flaky croissant along with hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc... We were very impressed. Not to mention the view over the lake while eating breakfast was gorgeous both on the deck or inside. On top of that, the staff was extraordinary and so polite - checking in multiple times that our room and stay was good. Would love to come back here and will recommend this place to everyone! A+++
