Great place for the money.
This place was nice. Seemed to be clean. It was an older no frills hotel. Worth the price for sure. There was a pool and a very small hot tub, but I didn't use them. There is a limited breakfast in the morning available. pastries, eggs, sausage, and make your own waffles. Would stay again.

Good value, better than most
It's tough just to find a clean place that's affordable in Gunnison, so it was nice to find Alpine Inn. It's cleaner than most and everything is in reasonably good condition. The bed was comfy, though the pillows were lacking a bit. The breakfast was average, but decent. It's a smaller hotel and tucked away a bit from downtown, which I like. I deducted points because I discovered prepared food left by a previous guest in the bed table drawer (yuck) and a suspicious stain on the chair (I didn't dare use it). Still, this place is a good value for Gunnison and I'd stay there again.

Room was OK, except: - uncomfy bed which made terrible noises when getting up or down - could hear front desk phone - which was left on with a loud ringer - despite there being no night staff on duty to answer it - so rang loudly and woke us multiple times in the night - adjoining door with another room also meant loud noises from their TV until ~11PM, then from loud alarm clock (and multiple snoozes) from about 4AM to 4:40AM Maybe another room, far further from the front and with no rude adjoining person next door, would have been much better. However, our actual experience was terrible and resulted in being way short of sleep.

Room was nice, clean, comfy bed. They were able to give us a room on the first floor because they don’t have an elevator and we couldn’t pull luggage upstairs because of back surgeries. However, the sliding window lock didn’t work and we were a bit uncomfortable about that.

We stayed at the Alpine Inn for 6 nights. The good: -Decent Breakfast -Having daily room service -Convenient Location The bad: -Towels and sheets had stains -Amenities like Shampoos, tissues, etc. were not replaced without requesting (poor quality shampoo, no conditioner or shower caps) -Breakfast was warm but not hot, the waffle maker did not cook the dough all the way, and seating was very limited -The hallway is very noisy, as well as the airport next door -The room air conditioner is super loud -The hotel was overpriced for the quality

The young lady working the front desk (found out later she is the owners daughter) was awesome. She greeted us with so much enthusiasm. She had spunk and energy and took real pride in her job. Room was exceptional clean and the pool are was just beautiful. It felt exotic and welcoming with all the house plants in the pool area. Great touch. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you

Friendly staff. Very prompt and considerate reply when I told the front desk that the plug in our bathtub did not work. They immediately came to the room and attempted to fix the drain. When it could not be repaired the owner went to the store and came back with a rubber drain cover that worked just fine. The hot breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our two night stay very much and would not hesitate to recommend Alpine Inn & Suites to others.
