First off, we did not get the room that was reserved! And of course they had no other rooms. Second, we couldn’t figure out why after flushing the water tank would not fill. Look inside and there is a syringe! The light in the bathroom kept shutting off, make it awfully hard to shower. Then would turn on at night for no reason. Fold out bed had a red round stain on it which freaked my teenager daughter out. Pool was under maintenance entire stay! Overall will not stay here again. For the price paid, was NOT worth it

They did not honor my reservation even though I called ahead to let them know I would be checking in after midnight. When I spoke to them on the phone about it, I was told it wouldn’t be a problem that I would arrive after midnight and that they would relay the message to the night staff. I got there at almost 3AM. There was no one at the front desk and it took over 40minutes to get checked in. I was then told that I missed my reservation, so I would need a new reservation altogether. After driving for 6 hours straight in the middle of the night, I was so exhausted that I had to bite the bullet and pay for a brand new reservation. I asked for a nonsmoking room, but the room I was put in smelled like cigarettes. The water in the bathtub would not go down the drain so I wasn’t really able to shower well. All in all, it was a nightmare of an experience.

The room had a smell and was extremely outdated. . I asked for an extra blanket and pillows and was told they didn’t have any. The profile on the site showed a pool but when I checked in it was closed as they are making it a conference room. This is totally false advertisement. I will not be staying at another Comfort Inn EVER!! And am now questioning Expedia for this stay option.

Room was nice enough and clean. I did check the mattresses and they were clean. The one day the breakfast was a bit lacking but other days it wag fine, i think maybe a support staff instead of the owner was there that day. That area of Dekalb is questionable and by the train tracks that go through at night hourly and very loud. I got use to it after a while. I did see a lot of trash and garbage on the outside of the building which i think would be my only area of improvement that's controllable. The hotel smelt strongly of weed in the back stairway several days and had someone lurking behind the building smoking. I know it's legal in that state but it's still awkward and smells bad. Again probably factors that's out of the control of the hotel itself.
