Caos en el ingreso y egreso al Cid.

Muy mal el manejo en cuanto a la aplicación Hotels.com con la recepción del hotel Yo puse mis datos en la aplicación y en Cid tenían otros datos (edades) por lo que tuve que desembolsar casi $14000 para que me dejaran entrar y a la salida aún no les llegaba el pago que hace la aplicación al Cid Tampoco nos dejaban salir y se nos hacía tarde para el vuelo

Los restaurantes son muy bonitos y el personal amable

Tienen albercas grandes y mucha área verde

Mal trato de personal en restaurante japonés

Todo excelente en excepción del personal del restaurante japonés, te apresuran a comer el gerente o capitán súper altanero y grosero, al igual que el mesero Juan cero respetuoso y muy poco agradable. Derramaron agua al servirme y no lo limpiaron, solicité limpiaran y mucho después el mesero agarró mi servilleta y limpio. Tuve que pedir una servilleta limpia. Terrible

The beach is a big No. There are lots of pools which is nice. Service with wait staff is not good. Sometimes you will be ignored. Drinks are not good at all. I personally would rather stay at more upscale resorts. Not really the resort for me.😕 They will have you wait 45 min to get to sister resort. Which will force you to walk. Food selection is not plentiful. But the food is good.

La place était très bien et le personnel aussi, mais c'était mon premier tout-inclus et je me rend compte que je ne suis vraiment pas un amateur. L'animation bruyante, la nourriture gaspillé et l'alcool à outrance ne font pas parti des plaisirs de ma vie. En plus, la plage remplis d'algues et l'odeur qui vient avec ont diminuer le plaisir du séjour.

We loved all the pools and the food was mostly better than we expected, lots of fun activities. The room smelled dank like there was mold present... yuck. My Uncle and his wife stayed in another room and they had a similar experience. We had mostly positive feedback, the platinum club was awesome because we could float top shelf liquor on top of otherwise wimpy drinks lol the beach though... big disappointment. I realize there is not much the resort can do about that but the Sargassum (seaweed) made the beach unenjoyable. We went to Isla Mujera and that was a georgous beach and beautiful town, way better than Cozumel. Playa Del Carmen was a nice surprise though, very cool town. Cancun is great but mostly for clubbing, the beach sucks.

This resort is amazing! The food is quite delicious and the best food I’ve ever had at an all inclusive resort. Coming from NYC that means a lot. The grounds are exceptionally clean and all of the staff is very attentive and friendly. There are alot of pool options and the little shows they put on at night are cute. If you are looking for a party hotel, this is not for you but if you want a More laid back feel then definitely give them a visit. The only downfall is the non swimmable beach due to the sargassum BUT the pools make up for it and Isla Mujeres is quite close by ferry and the town of Puerto Morelos has nice beaches as well.

Don't book this resort! I booked a family senior trip for our daughter going to college. We hoped to relax on the beach, snorkel along the beach &, participate in beach activities. Upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed to find the water to be un-swim-able with excessive seaweed buildup causing the water to be a nasty brown with a strong foul odor. We spoke to the manager & showed him pictures on their website and Expedia (we booked through Expedia, which turned out to be a nightmare). They advertise a beautiful relaxing beach- the main amenity we paid & came for. He said there was nothing he could do about the seaweed. We told him we understood, yet, if they had disclosed the condition of the beach/ water we could've made other arrangements. I asked if we could discuss some sort of compensation as we came to relax on the beach (we are from Wyoming) and enjoy the ocean. I asked if there was another accessible beach nearby, or if they'd provide complementary spa service, or, could we discuss another way to help make our vacation relaxing? I explained that we did not come all this way & pay all this money to sit at a pool with loud music & loud entertainment. We spoke with someone new. They moved us to a new room away from the beach. We spent all 6 days at the pool, no room upgrade, no spa, no beach as advertised, no compensation and A LOT of wasted time trying to get someone to make it right.I would NOT recommend this resort or Expedia. Tired & frustrated. Let's go home

This place is amazing! The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy and the rooms were awesome. There were only two things that were kinda disappointing. The first was the fact that it was damn near impossible to get a dinner reservation for the first three nights there. The second was that we celebrated my 40th birthday while we were there and my husband reached out before arrival about trying to do something special and they told him to talk to concierge upon arrival and then when we got there he was told it was too short of notice. I think the issue was we were NOT platinum club so they wouldn’t do anything special for us. Others mentioned on different social media posts that they were platinum club and posted pics of their room decorated. Kinda saddening but oh well. Aside from that everything else was wonderful. Shout out to all the employees there that bust their butts everyday to make our vacation so perfect.

I had a bad experience at Marina El Cid. The room was old and smelled bad, the food was the same every day and not fresh, and the staff didn’t seem friendly or helpful. The beach was full of rocks and seaweed, and it wasn’t good for swimming. We waited a long time just for pool towels, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. For the price we paid, it was not worth it. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
