Caos en el ingreso y egreso al Cid.

Muy mal el manejo en cuanto a la aplicación Hotels.com con la recepción del hotel Yo puse mis datos en la aplicación y en Cid tenían otros datos (edades) por lo que tuve que desembolsar casi $14000 para que me dejaran entrar y a la salida aún no les llegaba el pago que hace la aplicación al Cid Tampoco nos dejaban salir y se nos hacía tarde para el vuelo
Los restaurantes son muy bonitos y el personal amable
Tienen albercas grandes y mucha área verde

Todo excelente en excepción del personal del restaurante japonés, te apresuran a comer el gerente o capitán súper altanero y grosero, al igual que el mesero Juan cero respetuoso y muy poco agradable. Derramaron agua al servirme y no lo limpiaron, solicité limpiaran y mucho después el mesero agarró mi servilleta y limpio. Tuve que pedir una servilleta limpia. Terrible

We stayed for one week in July 2025 and we truly had an amazing time. Rooms are nice and spacious with ocean view...yes all rooms face the ocean! The food is out of this world! Tastes amazing and the variety is endless. We were able to book a la carte for 5 nights and wach restaurant was impressive. Beautiful property, well kept and service is outstanding! Thank you staff for apoiling us!

The resort is great. The pools are beautiful and there are options for everyone (quiet relaxing pools, party pools etc.). I would recommend Marina el Cid whole heartedly and think it is excellent value for your money but I do caution that in July the ocean was not swim-able. The water was brown and the seaweed was completely out of control. Not the resort's fault of course and they worked hard to clear the beach but it is a consideration you should be aware of if you are going for the ocean.

Overall a good resort for the price. It fit the bill for us to have a relaxing vacation at a good price. Food was fine - nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. There is enough variety wherever you go to find something good to eat. Pools were great and it being connected to other resorts (Ventus and Ventus Ha) made a big difference. El Cid is definitely on the louder more party side of things in terms of the pool. We found the smaller quieter infinity pool at Ventus to be more our style for our family. Lots of chairs available with it maybe getting a little busier in the afternoon (which we would take an air conditioning break then anyway). Issues: The beaches…are what they are for the time of the year we visited (end of July), which is basically unusable. Sand was fine but the water 50-100 yards out from the beach would be a dark red to brown color and there is indeed an odor. It scent was much more pronounced at the far end of the resort where a new building is being built so there no one assigned to clean up that area. WiFi / Connectivity - cell service is very limited (we have US Cellular / T-Mobile) and they only give you 2 WiFi codes with each room. $60 for the week extra for a additional codes. What a great resort! The staff and the foos is amazing! A family of two adults and a 12 year old and 16 year old found this place to be amazing. We have stayed at several all inclusive resorts over the years and I would place this one at the top. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is bar none some of the best food we ever had. We are kind of food snobs and EVERYTHING we had was top notch. We ate at all but one of the restaurants and our favorite being the French restaurant. Take about 50$ in singles and 150 in 5s and tip everyone you can. They work hard and they deserve the extra $. I felt safe at the resort but I wouldn't wonder outside the resort. The pools were nice but we preferred the quiet pool compared to the activity pool but that's our preference. To put this in comparison we have stayed at Breezes and multiple secret resorts as well as Paradisus and with kids this is a no brainer. The beach is nice but the water looks like lake Erie on a bad day, but that is what all of Cancun looks like right now with the sargassum. The staff and the food makes this place top of the line. We are a Family of 5 , 2 teens , and child . And it was Amazing experience !! 5/5 for sure . I do recommend it .Staff are friendly and helpful. You get access to all three resorts , Marina , Ventus, Ventus Ha. Which is perfect for family . The reason i rate the property condition at 4 , is because the AC was not working in our room. However , we were upgraded to new faciltiy , Ventus Ha , which I think iit was amazing I would visit them again

Place was great. We loved how we could use all the pools/restaurants at all 3 resorts. Food was fantastic and service was great. Marina rooms were a little old and the AC wasn’t great but they immediately moved us when we asked. Super nice service. Would return

The property didn't have hot water for two days. The AC was not working properly, the room temperature was not going under 28 degree cc. They took us tour and the buss driver left us out of nowhere in really hot weather.

Very disappointed with our stay. There were no proper swimming beaches available, which was not clearly mentioned beforehand. The buffet was extremely limited—not much variety in the menu, food options were basic, and the dining area was too small and crowded. Worst of all, the AC didn’t work for three days during our stay, which made the experience very uncomfortable. Not what we expected, and definitely not worth the price.

No AC, no hot water, the management didn’t care for any of these issues. We took a tour to Tulum from the hotel and the driver left us in the desert because we were late returning to his car! Hotel didn’t accept any responsibility, there was a group of 12 of us including children and elderly and had to find a way back to the hotel.
