I needed a place to stay for one night for an impromptu trip to Mackinac Island. Court Plaza got the job done just fine. Check-in was quick and painless. I did like being able to park and walk right to my car outside. Room was clean, yet the shampoo bottle looked like somebody had put water in it to make it look full? Housekeeping leaving an envelope for tips was tacky. Provided bath soap was about as thin as a communion wafer. TP dispenser popped out of wall and the toilet/shower (while clean) were from another era. Location is towards the quiet end of the main drag but still walkable to everything. I will say I slept very well and the water from the sink tap was ice cold which was pretty refreshing! For what I paid and what I got- it was fine.

Okay but could be better.

Whirlpool heater was malfunctioning. Water was barely lukewarm. Hotel room has no microwave to heat up leftovers. There is no microwave on the premises. Hotel room had very small garbages.

Accommodating

Front desk gave me a first floor room. I had forgotten to request it. We are in our 80's so it helps not to have too many stairs. Room was very clean & comfortable.

Location, location, location!
