It is a locally run place, so expect the usual runaround for the simplest tasks turning into bloated processes. For example if you arrive a little bit earlier than check in time of 3pm, you are forced to wait in the lobby, sweating, with no refreshments of any kind offered. Then at 3pm sharps the mad dash is on as everyone tries to secure their room keys an wristbands at the same time, with no regard for who got their first. Add to that a shift change as you see some employees counting money (and ignoring guests) and others fleeing the scene without so much as reasurring the waiting guests just what they are waiting for.
Its oh-so-dominican of a process.
But then your stay begins and you see their is a lot of care put into the rest of the property, from the remodeling of the rooms, simple but stylish, to the entertainment lineup, to the great offerings of food, to the extra effort of the service staff to make your stay memorable.
I guess the front desk process just needs a little oversight, have somebody crack the whip a little, because the first impression is not a good one.
